CIPET: Centre for Skilling and Technical Support, Hajipur is a public institute established in 1994 to cater to the needs of the plastic industries in Bihar. It functions under the umbrella of CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology), an autonomous national institute established by the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers (GOI). CSTS Hajipur is approved by AICTE, and its labs are recognized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) & the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB)- signifying and assuring the quality at the highest level.
