AIIMS MSc Entrance Examination Application Process

AIIMS MSc 2025 Application Form

The AIIMS MSc 2025 application form is expected to be released in March 2025 on the official website. The registration process for the AIIMS MSc 2025 exam is entirely online.

First, candidates must register by filling in nationality, name, parent's name, gender, category, domicile, contact details, and residential address. The status of the filled-in application form will be emailed to the registered mail ID.

Separate applications can be submitted for M.Sc. Nursing and M. Biotechnology curriculum.

Application Fee

  • INR 2000 for General and OBC (NCL) candidates
  • INR 1600 for SC/ST/EWS candidates

Documents to Upload

Candidates need to upload a recent passport-sized digital photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. The accepted file formats are JPG, PDF, GIF, and PNG.

  • Photograph size: 50 KB to 100 KB
  • Signature size: 20 KB to 100 KB
  • Left thumb impression size: 20 KB to 100 KB

The application form must be filled carefully as there might not be a provision for modifying it later.

How to Fill the AIIMS M.Sc 2025 Application Form?

The application procedure for AIIMS M.Sc 2025 is entirely online and there is no other method of applying. Foreign candidates can also apply but will not be required to appear for the entrance test.

If candidates make mistakes in the online application form, they can rectify them by editing the application within the last date. However, once the application fee payment is made, it is not possible to change details like Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Category (SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/UR/OPH), and Examination Center.

The rest of the details can be changed or edited till the last date of registration. Candidates can check the status of the application on the official website. They will be notified of the final status in the 2nd or 3rd week of May and will be given one week from thereon to make any changes in the uploaded images if necessary.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website at www.aiimsexams.org and click on the link 'Academic Courses'.
  • After selecting the course (M.Sc), click on the 'Click Here' link under the heading NEW REGISTRATION.
  • An instructions page appears on the screen. Read it carefully before clicking on the 'NEXT' button.
  • Fill in personal details including candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, OPH status, ID proof, ID number, and contact details.
  • Provide a valid personal mobile number and email id as further communication is done only through these.
  • Click on 'Save and proceed' after filling up the details.
  • A prompt box appears bearing the Candidate ID and Password which must be noted down. These login credentials are also sent to the registered email id and mobile number.
  • Login using this ID and password, then click on the option 'Change Password' and change the password. Only then is the registration step entirely complete.

Step 2: Filling Qualification and Address Details

After registration, candidates must fill up the qualification and address details. The following details must be carefully entered:

  • Qualifying Exam and Status
  • Examination Board Name
  • State
  • Subjects in Board Exam
  • Year of Passing
  • Scoring Scheme
  • Whether Government Employee
  • Address Details (Permanent and Correspondence)

After entering the above details, candidates can click on the 'Save and Proceed' button.

Step 3: Online Fee Payment

The application fee must be paid online. The fee is INR 2000 for General and OBC (NCL) candidates and INR 1600 for SC/ST/EWS candidates.

How to Pay the AIIMS M.Sc Application Fee

The next step is to pay the application fee. This fee includes the entrance examination fee.

Online payment methods include Credit/Debit card, net banking, or E-wallets. Candidates must have all the necessary details regarding the method of online payment they choose.

Upon completion of the transaction, candidates must note down the transaction ID. A print of the same should be taken for future reference.

Selecting the City for the AIIMS M.Sc Exam

After successful payment of the AIIMS M.Sc application fee, candidates are directed to a page to select the city for their entrance examination. This information cannot be changed later.

Candidates must be careful when choosing their examination center. After selecting the city, candidates must click on 'Proceed'.

Uploading Images for AIIMS M.Sc Application

The next step is uploading scanned images of the candidate's photograph, left-hand thumb impression, and signature. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions on the page before uploading.

Submitting the AIIMS M.Sc 2025 Application Form

Once the above steps are completed, candidates can click on the 'SUBMIT' button. At the new page, candidates can view their registration form with all the details.

Candidates can take a print out of this form and check the details carefully. If there are any corrections to be made, candidates can click on the 'EDIT' button and make changes.

After making necessary changes, candidates can click on the 'FINAL SUBMIT' button. Final Submission is a compulsory step.

The online application form is submitted and an acknowledgement mail is sent to the registered email id.

Documents Required for AIIMS M.Sc Application Form 2025

Since filling the application for AIIMS M.Sc 2025 is entirely online, candidates need high quality scanned copies of all important documents. These scanned documents can be uploaded into the online portal.

Candidates must ensure they have the following documents before registering and starting to fill out the application.

Photograph

Candidates must have a high quality scanned image of a recent passport-sized photo with white background. The prescribed dimension is 3.5 x 4.5 (cms).

The accepted formats include gif, png, jpg and jpeg. The size of the file should not be less than 10 kb and should not exceed 100kb (50Kb-100kb).

The procedures to be followed are given below.

  • Photograph must be taken professionally. Photographs taken from mobile phones will be rejected.
  • The photograph must be neatly pasted in the box drawn on a white paper, and then scanned. Care must be taken while scanning and only the photograph must be scanned without the paper. The resolution cannot be less than 200 dpi.
  • Save the scanned image as Photograph.jpg (in case of jpg format).

Precautions:

  • Avoid colour background, sunglasses/tinted spectacles and black and white photographs.
  • Ensure that the facial area is more than 50% of the total area. Do not enlarge a smaller image for this purpose as distortion may occur.
  • Name of the applicant and the Date must be present on the bottom of the photograph.
  • Look straight into the camera with the face clearly visible. No shadow/lock of hair/spectacle rim must interfere.

Left Thumb Impression

Candidates must have a high quality scanned image of their left-hand thumb impression. The prescribed dimension is 4 x 3 (cms).

The accepted formats include gif, png, jpg and jpeg. The size of the file should not be less than 10 kb and should not exceed 100kb (20kb-100kb).

Procedure to be followed is given below.

  1. Make a box (4x3) on a plain white paper.
  2. Use a good quality stamp pad and roll thumb lightly over it without pressing very hard.
  3. Gently press on the box and then scan the image only if the lines of the finger are clear.
  4. Scanning must be done carefully and the resolution cannot be less than 200 dpi.
  5. Save the image as Left Thumb Impression.jpg.

Precautions:

  • Do not use too much ink as the impression then becomes unclear.
  • Avoid blurred images and cropped images.

Signature

Candidates must have a high quality scanned image of their signature. The prescribed dimension is 6 x 3 (cms).

The accepted formats include gif, png, jpg and jpeg. The size of the file should not be less than 10 kb and should not exceed 100kb (20kb-100kb).

Procedure to be followed is given below.

  1. Make a box (6x3) on a white paper and sign in it using blue/black ball point pen.
  2. Carefully scan the area having the signature only. Resolution cannot be less than 200 dpi.
  3. Save the image as Signature.jpg

Precautions:

  • Avoid using colored ink and colored background.
  • Only initials and only capital letter signatures are not accepted.
  • Blurred and cropped images will be rejected.

AIIMS M.Sc 2025 Application Fee

The application fee for AIIMS M.Sc 2025 is paid online. The fee is inclusive of the entrance examination fee.

Payment can be made through Credit/Debit card, net banking, or E-wallets.

AIIMS M.Sc Application Fee

The AIIMS M.Sc application fee can be paid only through the online method. Payment options include Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, and Other Payment Modes (e-Wallets).

Candidates have to bear any extra charges such as transaction fees or service charges. There is no other way to pay the fee, and online payment is mandatory to complete the application procedure and submit the AIIMS M.Sc registration form.

Applicants belonging to the orthopaedic/physically handicapped (OPH) category are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee mentioned above is inclusive of the entrance exam fee and the registration fee, and it is non-refundable.

Retrieving AIIMS M.Sc 2025 Registration Password

If candidates forget the password required for login, it can be retrieved by following the given steps.

  • On the login page, candidates can find the link 'Forgot Login Details' and click on it.
  • Follow the instructions and enter details such as Candidate ID, Registered mobile number, and Registered Email Id.
  • Candidates will then receive their password on their registered email id.

AIIMS M.Sc 2025 Application Form Status

After successful online registration, an acknowledgement mail is sent to the registered email ID. The submitted Online Registration Form will show 'Under Review' status.

In the case of rejected images, candidates can make necessary changes till the registration deadline. Candidates can check the final status of their Registration Form at the official website www.aiimsexams.org.

Admit Cards of candidates whose online registration form is submitted successfully (with changes made, if necessary) will be uploaded on the website. For any query regarding the form status or non-availability of Admit Cards, candidates can contact the Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS via mail at aims.bscmmsc@gmail.com. Candidates must mention details of their registration form at the time of enquiring.

AIIMS M.Sc 2025 Form Correction

Candidates must fill the AIIMS Application form carefully without errors, as it may not be possible to correct them once the application fee payment has been made. There is no way to change, edit, or modify details such as Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Category (SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/UR/OPH), and Examination Center.

Changes in other details such as Father's Name, Mother's Name, Gender, Nationality, Marital Status, Sponsored to General, General to Sponsored, etc., can be done till the last date of registration. Past the deadline (last date of registration), there is no way to make changes, and any further requests on this will not be entertained.
