Biology papers age when they carry old data or out of syllabus content. Recent, NCERT aligned papers train you for the exact mix AIIMS actually asks.

  • Match the pattern: 30 questions, +1/-1/3 marking, strict NCERT scope.
  • Cover both halves: use papers that balance Class 11 Botany/Zoology with Class 12 Genetics, Biotechnology and Ecology.
  • Demand worked solutions: a good solution explains why the other options are wrong, which is how Biology traps you.

AIIMS Paramedical Biology Chapter Wise Weightage - High Scoring Topics to Focus in Sample Papers

Biology marks spread across Class 11 and Class 12, with Human Physiology, Genetics and Ecology among the densest scoring areas. The table below shows where to aim your revision.

Area Questions Difficulty What to Watch For
Diversity, Classification & Structural Organisation 6-7 Easy to Moderate Five kingdoms, plant/animal phyla and tissues give quick factual marks.
Cell Biology & Plant Physiology 5-6 Moderate Cell organelles, photosynthesis and respiration repeat often.
Human Physiology 3-4 Moderate to High Digestion, circulation, excretion and the neural-endocrine system are reliable scorers.
Genetics & Molecular Biology 4-5 Moderate to High Mendelian crosses, DNA, transcription and translation need clear concepts.
Reproduction, Biotechnology & Ecology 7-8 Moderate Human reproduction, rDNA technology and ecosystem energy flow are high yield.

Note: Diversity and Ecology give some of the easiest factual marks, so never leave them for the last day.

How to Use AIIMS Paramedical Biology Sample Papers to Clear in First Attempt

These steps turn each Biology paper into real exam improvement.

  • Time every paper: give yourself 30 minutes for the 30 questions, no more.
  • Attempt direct facts first: bank the straight NCERT recall marks, then handle the reasoning questions.
  • Guess only with elimination: attempt a question only after ruling out two options, because of -1/3 marking.
  • Link to the NCERT line: after each paper, find the exact textbook line behind every answer you missed.
  • Revise diagrams: practise labelled diagrams like the nephron, neuron and heart that often appear.
  • Repeat weak units: reattempt Genetics or Human Physiology sets until they feel automatic.

NCERT vs PYQ Balance for Biology - Where to Put Your Revision Time

Biology rewards students who read NCERT line by line and back it with previous year practice. A large share of questions are almost word for word from the textbook.

  • NCERT is king: most Biology questions are direct statements or diagrams from the Class 11 and 12 books.
  • PYQs show focus: they reveal which chapters and lines are asked again and again.
  • Sample papers join the two: they test your NCERT memory at exam difficulty under real timing.
  • Revise daily: read one NCERT chapter and solve related questions the same day to lock it in.

AIIMS Paramedical Biology 4 Week Preparation Plan Using Sample Papers

  • Week 1: revise Class 11 Diversity, Cell Biology and Plant Physiology from NCERT and solve one Biology sample paper every two days.
  • Week 2: cover Human Physiology and Genetics, and start solving papers under a strict 30 minute timer.
  • Week 3: add Reproduction, Biotechnology and Ecology, and mix full papers with focused drilling of weak units.
  • Week 4: solve two final Biology papers early in the week, then keep the last two days for NCERT diagram and fact revision and rest only.

  • Questions: 30 single correct multiple choice questions from Chemistry.
  • Marks: +1 for each correct answer and -1/3 for each wrong answer, 30 marks in total.
  • Time: about 30 minutes at the 1 minute per question pace.
  • Mode: computer based test, no calculator, so practise quick mole and formula maths.

Key advice: clear the Inorganic and direct NCERT fact questions first, then spend time on Physical Chemistry numericals.

Choosing the Right Chemistry Sample Papers - Why Recent Papers Matter Most

Chemistry papers go stale when they carry out of syllabus reactions or old data. Recent, NCERT aligned papers train you for the exact mix AIIMS actually asks.

  • Match the pattern: 30 questions, +1/-1/3 marking, strict NCERT scope.
  • Demand worked solutions: in Physical Chemistry the method matters as much as the final value.
  • Cover all three branches: use papers that balance Physical, Inorganic and Organic, not just one.

AIIMS Paramedical Chemistry Chapter Wise Weightage - High Scoring Topics to Focus in Sample Papers

Chemistry marks split across three branches. Physical gives numerical marks, Inorganic gives fast factual marks, and Organic rewards reaction practice. The table below shows the high return areas.

Area Questions Difficulty What to Watch For
Physical Chemistry (Mole, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Kinetics) 10-11 Moderate to High Mole concept, equilibrium and electrochemistry numericals repeat, practise them timed.
Inorganic Chemistry (Periodic Table, Bonding, p/d block, Coordination) 9-10 Easy to Moderate Periodic trends, bonding and the p block give fast, reliable factual marks.
Organic Chemistry (GOC, Hydrocarbons, Functional groups, Biomolecules) 9-10 Moderate Named reactions, isomerism and functional group tests are repeat scorers.

Note: Inorganic Chemistry is the easiest place to grab quick marks, so never leave periodic trends and bonding for the last day.

How to Use AIIMS Paramedical Chemistry Sample Papers to Clear in First Attempt

These steps turn each Chemistry paper into real exam improvement.

  • Time every paper: give yourself 30 minutes for the 30 questions, no more.
  • Clear Inorganic first: bank the quick factual marks, then move to Organic and Physical.
  • Guess only with elimination: attempt a question only after ruling out two options, because of -1/3 marking.
  • Write the formula or reaction first: note the balanced reaction before solving to avoid silly slips.
  • Review each error: tie every mistake to the exact NCERT line or reaction and redo it.
  • Repeat weak chapters: reattempt mole, equilibrium or organic sets until they feel automatic.

NCERT vs PYQ Balance for Chemistry - Where to Put Your Revision Time

Chemistry rewards a mix of line by line NCERT reading and repeated previous year practice. Inorganic especially is almost direct from the textbook.

  • NCERT for facts: Inorganic and many Organic questions come straight from the textbook lines.
  • PYQs for patterns: they show which reactions, trends and numerical types keep returning.
  • Sample papers for speed: they test both under the real 1 minute per question clock.

Why Does AIIMS Paramedical Always Fall in June or July?

The June–July window for AIIMS Paramedical is anchored to the Class 12 academic calendar. CBSE and most state boards complete theory examinations by early May, with results declared by late May or June. Scheduling AIIMS Paramedical in late June or early July means freshly passed students can apply and appear in the same academic year without a gap. It also aligns with the July–August start of the academic session at AIIMS institutes, leaving a window of approximately 10–12 weeks between exam and course commencement for result declaration, counselling, and admission formalities.

AIIMS Paramedical Previous Year Exam Dates (2022–2026)

The table below traces the AIIMS Paramedical exam date over the past five years. Data is arranged in descending order so students can see how 2026 compares with the most recent cycle first.

Year Exam Date Month Day of Week
2026 July 4, 2026 July Saturday
2025 July 13, 2025 July Sunday
2024 July 6, 2024 July Saturday
2023 June 4, 2023 June Sunday
2022 June 25, 2022 June Saturday

Three trends are visible across these five years. First, AIIMS Paramedical is always held on a Saturday or Sunday — every year in this table confirms this without exception. Second, the exam has migrated from June (2022, 2023) to July (2024, 2025, 2026), suggesting AIIMS has deliberately shifted the cycle later to give students more preparation time after Class 12 results. Third, July dates cluster in the first two weeks of the month — with 2024 (July 6), 2025 (July 13), and 2026 (July 4) all falling within the opening fortnight of July. Students preparing for AIIMS Paramedical 2027 should plan for a first- or second-week July date, on a Saturday or Sunday.

A year-by-year view of AIIMS Paramedical exam dates reveals clear patterns in scheduling that can help students planning future cycles. The table below covers five years in descending order, capturing the shift in exam month and day preference over time.

Year Exam Date Month Day of Week Shift
2026 July 4, 2026 July Saturday Single (Morning)
2025 July 13, 2025 July Sunday Single (Morning)
2024 July 6, 2024 July Saturday Single (Morning)
2023 June 4, 2023 June Sunday Single (Morning)
2022 June 25, 2022 June Saturday Single (Morning)

The data above reveals three structural patterns. First, AIIMS Paramedical has been single-shift every year — five years in a row, always a morning CBT — confirming no score normalisation is needed and students across all centres answer the identical paper. Second, the exam has migrated from June to July: 2022 and 2023 were June dates; from 2024 onwards, AIIMS has consistently used July. This shift appears deliberate, likely to ensure students have sufficient time after Class 12 results (typically released in late May or early June) to download hall tickets and prepare exam-day logistics. Third, the Saturday–Sunday alternation (Sat in 2022, Sun in 2023, Sat in 2024, Sun in 2025, Sat in 2026) is exact — AIIMS has alternated the exam day every year, with even years on Saturday and odd years on Sunday. If this pattern holds, AIIMS Paramedical 2027 should fall on a Sunday in the first two weeks of July.

Ques. Has the AIIMS Paramedical 2026 exam date been postponed?

Ans. No. The AIIMS Paramedical 2026 exam date of July 4, 2026 has not been postponed. The admit card released on June 27, 2026 reconfirmed July 4 as the scheduled exam date. In the unlikely event of any change, AIIMS would issue an official notice on aiimsexams.ac.in.

  • Admit card release is a strong institutional signal that the exam is proceeding as planned.
  • Students should check aiimsexams.ac.in on July 3 (the day before) for any last-minute communications from AIIMS.

Will AIIMS Paramedical 2026 Be Conducted in Multiple Shifts?

Based on all available information and historical practice, AIIMS Paramedical 2026 will be conducted in a single shift — 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on July 4, 2026. Unlike NTA-managed exams such as NEET or CUET that serve millions of students and require multiple shifts to manage centre capacity, AIIMS Paramedical serves a smaller, more targeted applicant pool. A single shift is administratively feasible and is AIIMS’s consistent choice since at least 2022.

  • A single shift means all students across all centres answer the same question paper at the same time — no normalisation of scores is required.
  • Students are ranked purely on raw marks, making the process more transparent for a merit-based exam.
  • The 90-minute, 90-question CBT format has been consistent across all recent years, aligning with single-shift administration.
  • Each student’s admit card will specify their exam centre; the shift timing of 10:00 AM–11:30 AM is uniform across all centres for 2026.

Ques. Are the AIIMS Paramedical 2026 dates confirmed or tentative?

Ans. Pre-exam dates for AIIMS Paramedical 2026 are confirmed. The notification date (March 25), registration close (May 10), correction window (May 17–19), admit card release (June 27), and exam date (July 4) are all confirmed by AIIMS. Post-exam dates — answer key, result, and counselling — have not yet been officially announced and are currently expected based on the 2025 timeline.

  • For confirmed post-exam dates, check aiimsexams.ac.in after the July 4 exam.
  • Counselling dates in particular depend on the result declaration and any objection resolution — timelines can shift slightly from year to year.

AIIMS Maths sample paperAIIMS Paramedical Mathematics Exam Pattern and Marks Distribution 2026

Mathematics sits inside the full 90 question paper but behaves like its own 30 mark mini test. Knowing the rules helps you plan your time and your attempts.

  • Questions: 30 single correct multiple choice questions from Mathematics.
  • Marks: +1 for each correct answer and -1/3 for each wrong answer, 30 marks in total.
  • Time: about 30 minutes at the 1 minute per question pace.
  • Mode: computer based test, no calculator, so practise quick mental and rough sheet calculation.

Key advice: attempt the short formula based questions first and leave long calculus or coordinate geometry problems for a second pass so you never run out of time.

Choosing the Right Mathematics Sample Papers - Why Recent Papers Matter Most

Maths papers stay useful only when they match the current pattern and difficulty. Recent, NCERT aligned papers train you for the exact mix AIIMS actually asks.

  • Match the pattern: 30 questions, +1/-1/3 marking, strict NCERT scope.
  • Demand worked solutions: in Maths the method matters more than the final answer, so each step must be shown.
  • Mix difficulty: use both moderate and tough papers so the real exam never feels harder than practice.

AIIMS Paramedical Mathematics Chapter Wise Weightage - High Scoring Topics to Focus in Sample Papers

Maths marks cluster in Calculus, Algebra and Coordinate Geometry. Calculus alone drives a large share of the 30 questions, so master it first. The table below shows the high return areas.

Area Questions Difficulty What to Watch For
Calculus (Limits, Derivatives, Integrals, Differential Equations) 9-10 Moderate to High Integration, application of derivatives and differential equations repeat, practise them timed.
Algebra (Sets, Complex Numbers, P&C, Binomial, Sequences, Matrices) 8-9 Moderate Matrices, determinants and binomial theorem give quick, reliable marks.
Coordinate & 3D Geometry, Vectors 6-7 Moderate Straight lines, conic sections, vectors and 3D geometry are repeat scorers.
Trigonometry 2-3 Moderate Identities and inverse trigonometric functions are short and scoring.
Probability, Statistics & Linear Programming 3-4 Easy to Moderate Probability and linear programming give fast formula based marks.

Note: Probability, Statistics and Linear Programming are the easiest places to bank quick marks, so never leave them for the last day.

How to Use AIIMS Paramedical Mathematics Sample Papers to Clear in First Attempt

These steps turn each Maths paper into real exam improvement.

  • Time every paper: give yourself 30 minutes for the 30 questions, no more.
  • Two pass method: first pass for quick formula questions, second pass for long calculus and geometry.
  • Guess only with elimination: attempt a question only after ruling out two options, because of -1/3 marking.
  • Write each step: note the formula and steps to avoid silly calculation slips.
  • Review every mistake: tie each error to the exact concept and redo it.
  • Repeat weak chapters: reattempt Calculus or Coordinate Geometry sets until they feel automatic.

No Negative Marking Trap - Speed and Accuracy Strategy

Mathematics has -1/3 negative marking, so blind guessing hurts. The winning approach is to be fast on the questions you know and disciplined on the ones you do not.

  • Secure your strong chapters first: lock the marks in Calculus or Algebra where you are confident.
  • Time box hard questions: if a question eats more than two minutes, mark a guess only if you can eliminate two options, else skip.
  • Avoid silly errors: in Maths most lost marks are calculation slips, not lack of knowledge, so recheck quickly.
  • Use the last five minutes: revisit flagged questions you can now eliminate options on.

AIIMS Paramedical Mathematics 4 Week Preparation Plan Using Sample Papers

  • Week 1: revise Calculus and Algebra from NCERT and solve one Mathematics sample paper every two days.
  • Week 2: add Coordinate Geometry, Vectors and 3D, and start solving papers under a strict 30 minute timer.
  • Week 3: mix full Maths papers with focused drilling of your two weakest chapters.
  • Week 4: solve two final Maths papers early in the week, then keep the last two days for formula revision and rest only.

  • NCERT for concepts: definitions, laws and derivations come straight from the textbook.
  • PYQs for patterns: they show which numerical types and chapters keep returning.
  • Sample papers for speed: they test both under the real 1 minute per question clock.
  • Formula sheet daily: keep a one page formula sheet and revise it every morning.

AIIMS Paramedical Sample PaperAIIMS Paramedical Exam Pattern and Marks Distribution 2026

Before you solve a single sample paper, fix the pattern in your head. AIIMS Paramedical is a fast paper with negative marking, so accuracy matters as much as speed.

  • Total questions: 90 single correct multiple choice questions.
  • Subject split: Physics 30, Chemistry 30, and Biology or Mathematics 30 depending on your course.
  • Marks: +1 for each correct answer and -1/3 for each wrong answer, total 90 marks.
  • Duration: 90 minutes, which works out to exactly 1 minute per question.
  • Mode: computer based test in English and Hindi, no calculator allowed.

Key advice: because of the -1/3 penalty, only guess when you can rule out at least two options, otherwise leave it blank.

Choosing the Right Sample Papers - Why Recent Papers Matter Most

Not every paper floating online is worth your time. The AIIMS Paramedical pattern and the way questions are framed have settled over recent years, so papers built on the current format give you a far truer picture than very old ones.

  • Match the latest pattern: use papers with 30 questions per subject, +1/-1/3 marking and a 90 minute clock.
  • Look for full solutions: a paper without worked solutions only gives the answer, not the reasoning you missed.
  • Stick to NCERT scope: the exam is NCERT based, so avoid papers that drift into out of syllabus material.

AIIMS Paramedical Subject Wise Weightage - High Scoring Topics to Focus in Sample Papers

All three subjects carry equal 30 marks, so none can be ignored. Biology is the most scoring for most students because it is memory based, while Physics needs the most timed practice. The table below shows where to aim your effort.

Subject Questions Difficulty What to Watch For
Physics 30 Moderate to High Mechanics, Electricity and Modern Physics repeat often, practise numericals against the clock.
Chemistry 30 Moderate Physical Chemistry formulae and Inorganic facts give quick, reliable marks.
Biology 30 Easy to Moderate Human Physiology, Genetics and Plant Biology are the high return chapters.
Mathematics 30 Moderate For Maths stream students, Algebra and Calculus carry the bulk of questions.

Note: Biology and Chemistry are the easiest places to bank quick marks, so secure them first and use the saved time on Physics numericals.

How to Use AIIMS Paramedical Sample Papers to Clear in First Attempt

Downloading papers is easy, using them well is what builds your rank. Follow these steps with every paper you solve.

  • Always use a timer: give yourself the full 90 minutes and treat it like the real CBT.
  • Secure Biology and Chemistry first: bank the reliable marks, then spend time on Physics.
  • Guess smartly: with -1/3 marking, attempt only when you can eliminate two options.
  • Review every mistake: note the exact NCERT line or concept you missed, not just the right option.
  • Track your score: log each paper so you can watch your accuracy climb week by week.
  • Redo weak chapters: reattempt the topics where you keep losing marks until they feel automatic.

NCERT vs PYQ Balance - Where to Put Your Revision Time

AIIMS Paramedical rewards students who pair line by line NCERT reading with steady previous year practice. One without the other leaves gaps.

  • NCERT builds the base: most questions are direct concept checks from the Class 11 and 12 textbooks.
  • PYQs show the pattern: they reveal which chapters repeat and how the examiner frames options.
  • Sample papers join the two: they test your NCERT memory at PYQ difficulty under real timing.
  • Revise both weekly: read NCERT in the morning, solve a paper in the evening, review the same night.

AIIMS Paramedical 4 Week Preparation Plan Using Sample Papers

  • Week 1: revise high weight NCERT chapters in each subject and solve one subject wise paper every two days.
  • Week 2: start full 90 question papers under strict timing, review every mistake the same day.
  • Week 3: alternate full papers with focused practice on your three weakest chapters.
  • Week 4: solve two final full papers early in the week, then keep the last two days for light revision and rest only.
