All India Management Association Under Graduate Aptitude Test Syllabus 2026

The AIMA UGAT 2025 syllabus is divided into four main sections: English Language, Numerical & Data Analysis, Reasoning & General Intelligence, and General Knowledge. For BHM courses, two additional sections are included: Service Aptitude and Scientific Aptitude.

• English Language: Topics include verbal reasoning, sentence completion, fill in the blanks, one-word substitution, contextual usage, syllogisms, sentence correction, idioms, analogies, different usage of same word, antonyms, jumbled paragraphs, and foreign language words used in English.
• Numerical & Data Analysis: Topics include geometry (lines, angles, triangles, spheres, rectangles, cube, cone, etc.), number system, HCF & LCM, algebra, ratios and proportion, work and time, percentages, averages, profit & loss, in-equations, quadratic and linear equations, geometric progression, partnership (accounts), and time-speed-distance.
• Reasoning & General Intelligence: Topics include coding & decoding, visual reasoning, pie chart, puzzles, arrangement, strong arguments and weak arguments, multi-dimensional arrangements, course of action, graphs representing area, series, family tree, numeric grid, blood relations, critical reasoning, calendars, syllogisms, statement conclusions, and column graphs.
• General Knowledge: Topics include government and politics, famous personalities, business, economy, history, geography, static GK, and current affairs.

For the BHM exam, important topics include data sufficiency, para jumbles, synonyms, time and work, probability, average, mensuration, pipes and cistern, seating arrangement, matrices, boats and streams, blood relations, and logical reasoning.
