BHU PET 2025 Registration Dates

BHU PET 2025 Eligibility

Students who have completed graduation in any Arts, Science, or Commerce stream from an accredited university are eligible for CUET PG 2025. Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply.

How to Fill BHU PET 2025 Application Form

The CUET PG 2025 registration process has started. You can apply by visiting the official website, pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

Log in with the system-generated application number and pre-created password to complete the registration. The application form requires you to fill in personal details, apply for the Paper, choose Examination Cities, provide Educational Qualifications, and upload images and documents.

The application form can only be filled online. Forms submitted by any other means will not be accepted. You need the system-generated application number obtained after the first step of registration to fill the form.

The application fee for CUET PG 2025 must be paid through net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI, or wallet. The fee varies by category.

BHU PET 2025 Registration for MBA

BHU PET 2025 registration through CAT for MBA admission is underway. Candidates can register till January 3, 2025.

Registration for BHU will be based on the CAT Registration Number. Therefore, the candidate should have a valid CAT Registration Number. For registration, candidates have to pay INR 2000 (INR 1000 for SC/ST).

Exam Date

CUET PG 2025 exam date will be released by NTA at the official website pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. The tentative date of CUET PG 2025 exam is March Second Week, 2025. The exam will be conducted online.

CUET PG 2025 Eligibility

Candidates must have completed graduation from an accredited university to apply for CUET PG 2025. Graduation in any stream — Arts, Science, or Commerce — is accepted.

Students in the final year of their graduation are also eligible. There is no minimum age limit for the exam, so candidates of all ages can apply.

How to Fill CUET PG 2025 Application Form

The CUET PG 2025 application form is accepted in online mode only. Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programs at BHU must apply through the official website.

• Visit the official CUET PG 2025 website: pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
• Click on the "CUET PG 2025 Registration" link.
• Enter your registration ID and password.
• Fill in personal details, qualification details, and preferred exam center carefully.
• Upload documents in the required format. Photographs must be coloured, taken against a white background, and saved in .jpg or .jpeg format.
• Sign on white paper with a black pen, scan it, and upload it. This signature will appear on your admit card and must match the one you make on the answer sheet during the exam.

The CUET PG 2024 exam pattern has been revised by NTA. You will be asked a total of 75 questions in the exam.

• You can select up to 4 paper codes according to your preferences.
• The total number of questions will be 75 for each subject you choose.
• CUET PG 2024 total marks is 300.
• Except for the language and Sahitya papers, the CUET (PG) 2024 is conducted in both English and Hindi (Bilingual).
• The complete 75-question exam for Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya will be administered in Sanskrit exclusively.
• The Acharya courses will only be available in Sanskrit.

CUET PG 2024 paper includes a total of 75 questions for each subject. For each correct answer, there is a marking of +4.

CUET PG 2024 Exam Shifts and Timing

The test is conducted on multiple days in three shifts. Shift 1 is held from 9 AM to 10:45 AM, shift 2 from 12:45 PM to 2:30 PM, and shift 3 from 4:30 PM to 6:15 PM.

For PwBD type, a compensatory time of 20 minutes for every one-hour examination is given. You should report to the exam hall at least 90 minutes prior to the starting of examination.

CUET PG 2024 Syllabus

NTA has removed the General Test paper from each subject, and you can now appear for it separately. Instead, the Language Comprehension subject has been replaced, which will be in Hindi or English as chosen by the candidates during registration.

BHU PET 2024 Result and Cut Off

BHU PET 2024 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under CUET PG 2024. The CUET PG 2024 result will be declared in April 2024.

The cut off for BHU 2024 counselling will be declared after the result is out. Based on the previous year, the expected cut off for the MSc program in BHU is 200-260 and 270-280.

How to Check CUET PG 2024 Result

CUET PG 2024 result will be declared online. Candidates have to perform the following steps to get their results:

• Enter your application number and date of birth to check the result.
• Take a printout copy of your result for the day of counselling and admission into BHU.

The result will be published based on the final CUET PG 2024 answer key after it has been challenged and verified by experts. NTA also releases the paper-wise and category-wise topper list and statistics in the official result notification.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Minimum qualifying marks of CUET PG 2024 set for BHU PET 2024 counselling is 35% for general and 25% for SC/ST group.

For SC/ST candidates, for all courses except LL. B. (Hons.)/LL.M, there is no requirement for minimum percentage of marks. Certain factors affect the cut off, including the number of students who appear and qualify, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of seats available.

Re-evaluation of Result

Tie-Breaking Criteria in BHU 2024

If two candidates get the same marks in BHU 2024, the exam conducting body uses a set of criteria for ranking. The criteria apply to all courses.

• Higher preference goes to the candidate with a higher aggregate percentage of marks in the Qualifying Examination.
• If the aggregate percentages are equal, preference goes to the candidate with higher marks in the concerned subject.
• If the marks are still equal, the older candidate gets higher preference.

BHU 2024 Qualifying Marks

Banaras Hindu University sets the qualifying percentage marks for BHU 2024. The university reserves the right to decide these marks for each PG course and category.

• For MPA and MFA, the minimum qualifying marks for the theory paper are 35% and for the practical are 45%. Merit is based on the total of both components.
• For M.P.Ed, the minimum qualifying marks in the Theory Paper are 35% and in the Physical Fitness Test are 45%. Merit is the sum of both components.

BHU 2024 Counselling

BHU 2024 counselling takes place online after the merit list is published on the official website. Candidates must fill an online preference entry form on www.bhuonline.in.

The Preference Entry Form requires candidates to state their choices for the following:

• Choice of Course: This option is available only if admission to more than one course is based on a merit index from a Common Test.
• Preference of location: This option is for courses running at more than one location, such as the Main Campus, RGSC, or Affiliated Colleges.
• Seat Type: Candidates choose between regular fee seats or paid seats if regular seats are full. This option is not available for Special Courses of Study and certain programs like MCA on the main campus.

Provisional admission is granted only after fee payment and proof of the fee receipt.
