AP Inter Exam Pattern 2024: Key Details

Each paper in the AP Inter 2nd year is allotted 100 marks. The total marks are divided into theory and practical or internal assessment, depending on the subject.

AP Intermediate Exam Pattern 2024

The following is a list of some of the key features of the AP Board class 12 exam pattern 2023-24:

  • The exams will be conducted for three hours.
  • The language papers will carry a total of 100 marks.
  • For subjects that include practicals, the theory paper will be of 70 marks and the remaining 30 marks will be allotted to practicals.
  • The final AP Inter result will be prepared considering 80% marks of the final board exams and 20% marks of internal assessment.
  • The question paper will contain both subjective and objective-type questions.

AP Inter Theory and Practical Weightage

For subjects having practical exams, the marking has been divided into two parts. The theory section is 70 marks and the practical section is 30 marks, making a total of 100 marks.

The final result will be declared with 80% of the final AP Inter result and 20% of the internal assessment.

Marks Distribution for Subjects with Practicals

Subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Geography have a division of practical papers and theory papers. The theory paper will be conducted for 60 marks and the rest of the 40 marks are for practical papers.
