Central Admission Committee Eligibility Criteria 2027

Eligibility depends on the course applied for, since CENTAC covers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In general, applicants must have passed the qualifying examination prescribed for that course, such as class 12 with the relevant subjects for undergraduate professional programmes or a relevant bachelor degree for postgraduate programmes, from a recognised board or university. Candidates seeking seats reserved for residents must satisfy the residence and nativity conditions of the Union Territory of Puducherry, and those applying for courses that require a national entrance test must hold a valid qualifying score in it. Minimum marks, age requirements and category conditions are stated course by course in the official prospectus.
