Global Management Common Aptitude Test Syllabus
The GMCAT 2026 syllabus has 4 sections. Each section has 25 questions for 25 marks.
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC): Vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms), grammar (tenses, agreement, sentence correction), reading comprehension passages, para-jumbles, error detection and sentence completion.
- Quantitative Aptitude (QA): Arithmetic (percentages, averages, ratio and proportion), algebra (equations, functions), geometry (lines, angles, shapes), number systems and basic computations.
- Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (LRDI): Series and pattern recognition, seating arrangements and puzzles, blood relationships, and data interpretation (tables, graphs, pie and bar charts).
- General Knowledge & Business Awareness: National and international current affairs, business, economy and finance basics, marketing fundamentals and strategies, and static GK (facts, dates, institutions).
