HBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2026: Overview

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has released the Class 12 syllabus for the academic year 2025-2026. Students can download the syllabus from the official HBSE website at bseh.org.in.

The syllabus is available for all three streams: Science, Humanities, and Commerce. The HBSE Class 12 exam is held once a year in offline mode. Each exam paper has a duration of 3 hours.

HBSE Class 12 Exam 2026: Key Details

The HBSE Class 12 exam for 2026 is scheduled for February-March 2026. Each subject carries a total of 100 marks.

  • The theory exam is for 70 or 80 marks, and the practical or internal assessment is for 20 or 30 marks.
  • Total marks are calculated from the best five subjects, which adds up to 500 marks.
  • Students must score at least 33% in each subject to pass.
  • The 33% requirement applies separately to the theory and practical exams.

HBSE Class 12 Syllabus: Marking Scheme

The HBSE Class 12 exam is held for 100 marks per subject. The marks are divided between theory and practical exams.

  • Practical subjects have 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical.
  • Non-practical subjects have 80 marks for the written exam and 20 marks for the practical exam.
