INI SS Registration 2025: Overview
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the INI SS Registration Notification. Registration for the July Session INI SS starts on April 22, 2025, and lasts till May 6, 2025, 5:00 PM.
The entrance examination offers admission to DM, M.Ch, and MD (Hospital administration) courses. Participating medical colleges include AIIMS New Delhi, other AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS, JIPMER, and SCTIMST.
INI SS Eligibility Criteria
To register for INI SS 2025, students must have completed MBBS or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks. Students must have 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
Applicants must be registered with the Central or State Medical Registration Council.

INI SS Registration: How to Apply?
To apply for INI SS 2025 July Session, students must go through a 7-step registration process. Students must visit the official website of INI SS at aiimsexams.ac.in, click on "INI SS July 2025 Registration" and follow the steps below.
Before filling out the registration form, students must read all the instructions and then click on the "Proceed" tab.
- Step 1: Select the course, and fill in details including Name, DOB, Address, Community, Gender, Contact No. etc. After filling in all the details, click on the "Register" tab to receive Login Credentials through SMS and Email. Students must log in using the login credentials and change their passwords.
- Step 2: Fill in academic details like UG Examination, Internship, Qualifying Examination, Medical Registration details, etc.
- Step 3: Fill out experience details such as govt. hospital/institute or general practice, duration, position held, etc.
- Step 4: Select the examination center according to convenience.
- Step 5: Make the INI SS 2025 fee payment as prescribed by the concerned authority.
- Step 6: Check all the information and proceed to upload the required documents.
- Step 7: A registration slip will be generated. Students must check if all the details mentioned are correct and then take the printout of the registration slip.

INI SS 2025 Application Fee
To submit the INI SS application, students must pay a fee of INR 4,000. Candidates belonging to PwBD are exempted from paying the INI SS 2025 application fee.

INI SS 2025 Jan Session Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the INI SS 2025 July Session. The criteria for DM/M.Ch/MD Hospital Administration are listed below.
- Students must have completed MBBS or any equivalent degree
- Students must have secured a minimum of 55% (UR/OBC/EWS) or 50% (SC/ST) in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations
- Applicants must have an experience of 3 years in Govt. Hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice
- Applicants must be registered with the Central /State Medical Registration Council
- Those who have already completed the MD/MS or equivalent courses are not eligible to apply for INI SS 2025 DM/M.Ch/MD (Hospital Administration)

How to check the INI SS application status?
No acknowledgment is issued for receipt of the application after registering for INI SS 2025. Students can check the status of their application by visiting the INI SS official website.

Do I need to send a hard copy of the INI SS application to AIIMS?
No, students need not send any hard copy of their submitted application. However, students are advised to keep their applications and payment receipts with them for future use.

Counselling
AIIMS has released an important update for the Open Round of Institute Allocation for admission to DM, M.Ch., and MD (Hospital Administration) courses under the INI SS January 2026 session. This is the final round of seat allocation, and no further counselling rounds will be conducted after this session.
- The final seat allotment result will be declared on February 21, 2026.
- The revised open round seat matrix has been published, with several previously “zero-seat” departments now converted into active vacancies for Open Category candidates.
- Selected candidates must report to their allotted institutes and complete document verification between February 23 and February 28, 2026 (till 5:00 PM).
- To participate, candidates must submit a refundable security deposit of ₹3,00,000 via RTGS/NEFT to the Accounts Officer (Exams), AIIMS New Delhi.

The counselling is for admission to 365 seats for DM, 231 for M.Ch and 29 seats for MD (Hospital Administrations). Two separate merit lists are released- AIIMS Merit List (AML) for AIIMS and PGIMER and CML (Common Merit List) for admission to other institutes.

Is there any spot selection in INI SS 2026 counselling?
The INI SS counselling includes only three rounds of the seat allotment process. Still, if there are any vacant seats left then the authority will arrange an open or spot selection round. In this case, the remaining vacant seats will be filled based on the merit and availability of seats.
INI SS: Documents Required
Some important documents will be needed to confirm your admission to the allocated institute. Required documents are listed below for your reference.

- MBBS degree and all years’ mark sheet

What will happen if my documents do not match with my application form?
You can claim to the allotted institute only after the verification of your documents for eligibility and identity. If you fail to submit all required documents (original or photocopies with DD) or your document does not match the information in your form then your candidature will be cancelled. The seat which was allotted to you in the first round of seat allotment will be vacant for the next round and you will not be allowed to participate in the second or third round. However, you will be eligible for the spot selection round (if any) if you fulfil the eligibility criteria.
INI SS 2026: Seat Confirmation Fees
After the seat allotment, you need to submit all the required documents to the allotted institution for verification. You will have to deposit a Demand Draft of INR 3,00,000 and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the documents.

Ans. If you are not allotted a seat in the first round, you are eligible for the next round of seat allotment. All you have to do is update your choices for courses and colleges to enhance your chances of getting a seat in the next round.
Ques. Is NEET SS and INI ss same?
Ans. The Institute of National Importance Super Speciality is famous for its top-notch programs and AIIMS hosts this entrance exam annually. In INI SS we are supposed to choose our speciality whereas in NEET SS the entire medicine syllabus is asked. In INI SS 60% of the course includes the speciality and remaining 40% is asked from the general medicine.
