JUEE 2024 Application Form

The JUEE 2024 application form is expected to be available from the last week of August 2024. The form will be available on the official university website or can be obtained from the university campus.

Candidates can complete the JUEE 2024 registration either online or offline. The last date to apply for JUEE 2024 is the fourth week of September 2024 (tentative).

JUEE 2024 Application Fee

The application fee is INR 500 for all programs except Ph.D. For the Ph.D application form, students have to pay INR 1000.

• SC/ST candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 200.
• Application fees can be paid through online or offline mode.
• Once the application fee is paid, there is no refund as per university rules.

JUEE 2024 Admit Card

The JUEE 2024 admit card can be downloaded from the website after successfully completing the registration process. The admit card is expected to be available from the first week of October 2024.

JUEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility is not the same for all the courses. Some courses require minimum marks of 45% whereas in some courses the eligibility is 50%.

Students must check their eligibility criteria before applying to the JUEE 2024 exam. The eligibility criteria apply to UG, PG and all the Distance courses.

Documents Required for JUEE 2024 Application

The list of documents to be submitted at the time of depositing the JUEE 2024 application form is as follows:

• Self attested copies of class 10th and 12th mark sheets.
• Self attested copies of qualifying examination/entrance examination, wherever applicable.
• Proof of residence.
• 4 passport size photographs.
• Aadhar Card photocopy or xerox.

About JUEE

JUEE is conducted by Jagannath University. For admission to the various UG, PG and Distance courses, candidates have to successfully fill and submit the application form.

A student's final admission in a particular course depends on the marks secured by them in the entrance examination.

How to Fill JUEE 2024 Application Form

Students can get the application form either online or through offline mode. The steps for filling the UG and PG application form differ from the steps for distance programmes.

JUEE 2024 Online Application Form Filling Process

Students can get the application form through online mode only. They can fill and submit the application form directly through the university website.

• Visit the official website of the university.
• Fill the Application applied for section.
• Select the desired course from the Programme Applied For dropdown list.
• Fill up the Personal Details section.
• Fill up the Contact Details section.
• Fill the Qualification details section.
• Click Proceed to pay button to make online payment of INR 500/- as application fees.
• The fee is paid using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.

JUEE 2024 Offline Application Form Filling Process

Offline application form can be obtained from the university campus or downloaded from the official website. Students need to fill in the required details in the application form.

• Students have to affix the passport size photograph on the application form.
• Submit the application form on or before the last submission date with application fees in cash or demand draft.
• The demand draft should be paid in favour of Jagannath University payable at Jaipur.
• Applicants have to submit the following documents along with the application form:

1. 10th and 12th attested copies of mark sheet and certificates.
2. Attested copies of Graduation mark sheet and certificates (if applicable).
3. Two passport size photographs.

In case of filling Ph.D application form, students must send the list of following documents along with the application form.

JUEE 2024 Distance Education Application Process

For distance programmes, students can fill the application form online or offline. The steps for both modes are given below.

Online Application Form

Students can register online for the distance learning programmes through the official website.

• Go to the official website of the university
• Fill the General details, Address details and Education Details and upload the scanned copy of required documents
• Click on the Next button
• Click the Pay Now button for submitting the application fees using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Debit Card

Offline Application Form

The offline application form can be obtained from either the Chaksu campus or the Sitapur campus.

• Students have to submit the filled-in application form on or before the last submission date
• For UG programmes, students have to submit INR 250 and for PG programmes INR 500 has to be submitted
• The fees can be submitted either in cash or through demand draft in favour of Jagannath University payable at Jaipur

JUEE 2024 Application Fee and Refund

Once the application fee is paid, there is no refund as per the university rules. The application fee varies by programme and category.

• JUEE 2024 application fee is INR 500 for all programs, except INR 1000 for PhD

JUEE 2024 Exam Pattern at a Glance

JUEE 2024 is an offline exam. The question paper contains objective type questions (MCQs).

The exam is conducted in English only. Each of the three sections carries an equal weightage of 33.3%.

Exam Pattern in Detail

The JUEE exam has three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Most questions are objective type, requiring the candidate to select one correct option.

The level of the JUEE 2024 question paper is generally moderate.

JUEE 2024 Syllabus

The JUEE 2024 syllabus is the same as the CBSE syllabus for Class 11 and Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students can refer to standard books for preparing for Jagannath University CET 2024.

Time management is crucial in the Jagannath University entrance exam. Many students spend too long on a single question and miss answering simpler ones.

Important Topics for Chemistry

Important topics for the JUEE 2024 Chemistry section are Electrochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium in Physical Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry and Chemical Bonding in Inorganic Chemistry, Thermodynamics, and Organic Chemistry.

Practicing solution-based questions is the main way to crack the Chemistry portion.

Marking Rules

If a candidate marks two options for one question, no marks will be awarded for that question. Only one option must be marked as the answer at a time.

M. Tech. Admission Criteria

The M. Tech. program is open to working professionals. Candidates must have passed B.E./B. Tech. or an equivalent degree, or a Master's degree in a respective or allied discipline.

The minimum required score is 50% aggregate (all semesters/years) marks or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale. Candidates must also possess a valid GATE score or qualify through the Admission Test prescribed by Jagannath University.

Important Instructions for JUEE 2024 Exam

The following instructions apply while using the OMR Sheet during the exam.

• Candidates should not open the sealed Test Booklet until the invigilator announces to open it.
• After opening the sealed Test Booklet, verify the serial number and series of the Test Booklet with the serial number and series of the OMR Sheet.
• If there is any variation in the serial number and series of the Booklet and OMR Sheet, inform the invigilator immediately to replace it with another set of the same series available in the examination hall or center.
• Each Answer Booklet has a code such as A, B, C, or D. Students must check whether the Test Booklet Code pre-printed on the Answer Sheet is the same.
• The Answer Sheet will be scanned on an Optical Scanner, so students must fill it carefully using a Blue or Black ball point pen only.

Students must fill the following details on the Answer Sheet:

1. Roll Number of student
2. Student's name
3. Father’s Name
4. Signature of the student

JUEE 2024 Answer Sheet Rules

Once an answer is marked, it cannot be changed. Only one option can be marked for a question at a time.

Students must darken the circle fully. A light or faint mark is not acceptable.

• Do not make any marks on the Answer Sheet.
• Do not do any rough work on the Answer Sheet.
• Rough work must be done only in the Test Booklet provided.

JUEE 2024 Exam Pattern

JUEE 2024 has 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section makes up 33% of the paper.

The exam is conducted in offline mode only. There is no online mode facility for JUEE 2024.

JUEE 2024 Chemistry Important Topics

Key topics for the Chemistry section include Electrochemistry and Chemical Equilibrium in Physical Chemistry. Coordination Chemistry and Chemical Bonding are important in Inorganic Chemistry.
