Exam Pattern in Detail

The MAH MCA CET 2025 question paper is divided into four sections. The total marks for the exam are 200.

The exam is a computer-based test. Candidates must mark their answers on the computer screen. An offline test option is not available.

The question paper is available only in English. The time allotted to complete the exam is 90 minutes.

Sectional Division of Questions

Each section has a different number of questions. The distribution of questions is as follows:

The total mark for the exam is 200. Candidates should attempt questions they know the answer to, as incorrect answers do not lead to a penalty.

Important Instructions

Candidates must fill the online application form, as the offline test option is not available. The exam is conducted only in English, so the question paper language cannot be changed.

It is up to the candidate to decide how many questions to attempt. Attempting a question without knowing the answer may lead to losing marks, even though there is no negative marking.

MAH MCA CET 2025 Important Instructions

Certain instructions must be followed during the online test. The process is explained below.

Login

  • The candidate's details, such as name and photograph, will be displayed on the allotted computer screen.
  • Candidates must enter their Username and Password at the scheduled time, generally 10 minutes before the exam, as instructed in the Admit Card.
  • After entering the details, click on the "Sign In" button.

Reading Instructions

  • Read the instructions carefully as they contain exam information like the number of questions and the marking scheme.
  • Click on the "I am ready to begin" button. The test will start only at the scheduled time.
  • The timer starts when the candidate clicks the "I am ready to begin" button.

Test Taking Process

MAH MCA CET 2025 Exam Pattern

The MAH MCA CET 2025 exam will have 100 questions. Each question carries 2 marks, making the total 200 marks.

Candidates get 90 minutes to complete the exam. The major sections are Mathematics, English, Computer Concepts, and Logical Reasoning.

Navigating Questions

The Question Palette is on the right side of the screen. Click on any question number in the palette to go directly to that question.

Each question has four options. Click the circle button in front of an option to select it as your answer.

Changing or Clearing Answers

To change an answer, click the circle button of another option. To cancel a selected answer, click the "Clear Response" button.

It is mandatory to click the Save & Next button to save your answer. Without clicking this button, the answer will not be saved.

Marking for Review

Click the Mark for Review & Next button to mark a question for review. If a question is answered and marked for review, that answer will be considered in the evaluation.

Submitting the Test

The Submit button is not available until the exam time is complete. Candidates do not need to click the submit button, as the system automatically submits the test after the exam closure time.

After submission, an exam summary appears on the screen. The summary shows the subject name, number of questions answered, number of questions unanswered, marked for review, and not visited. Candidates must confirm by clicking the 'Yes' button.

Timer

The countdown timer starts after clicking the "I am ready to begin" button. Candidates can check the timer to see the time left for completing the test.
