MP PPT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

MP PPT 2024 eligibility criteria include the qualifying exam, marks, and subjects. Candidates who meet the criteria can take admission in government polytechnic colleges, self-governing polytechnic colleges, state-funded polytechnic colleges, and government women polytechnic colleges of Madhya Pradesh.

MP PPT 2024, or Madhya Pradesh Pre-Polytechnic Test, is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The exam is for admission to diploma courses offered by participating institutes in the state.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

  • A candidate must have passed the 10th class examination with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
  • The qualifying exam must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
  • Candidates appearing in class 12 or those who have passed class 12 can also apply.
  • Applicants must have the domicile of Madhya Pradesh.

  • Both female and male candidates can apply. However, female candidates cannot apply for the Mining and Mine Surveying course.

  • The minimum age limit for the Mining and Mine Surveying course is 16 years as of January 1, 2024.
  • As per MP Vyapam's instructions, there is no upper age limit to appear in the exam.

Domicile Criteria

  • Candidates with the domicile of Madhya Pradesh state are permitted to apply.
  • Candidates who passed their 10th or 12th from schools situated in the Madhya Pradesh board are also eligible.
  • For Madhya Pradesh candidates, 30% weightage is given to 10th class marks and 70% to the marks secured in the MP PPT 2024 examination.

MP PPT 2024 Registration Process

Candidates can apply for MP Polytechnic by filling and submitting the online application form with important documents before the last date. The registration process is as follows:

  • The application form is available online only through the official website of MP PEB. No printed form is available.
  • Candidates must fill in all details and pay the application fee.
  • A printout of the online application form should be saved for future use.
  • Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form for each shift of the exam.
