Colleges Accepting NEET Scores

The NEET Scores are mandatory to get admission into medical, dental, AYUSH and veterinary courses in India. As per the NEET Rank, candidates can get seats by AIQ, State Quota, Deemed Universities and central institutes.

What is the NEET 2026 Registration?

NEET 2026 Step-by-Step Registration Process

The NEET Registration Process will be conducted online by which you can apply for the UG Medical exam conducted by NTA.

The NEET Registration process includes the account creation, filling in personal & academic details, uploading documents, paying the fee and submitting the confirmation page.

As more than 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear, by completing each step properly to avoid any rejection or delay.

Step 2: Filling the NEET Application Form

After the completion of the NEET Registration Process, you should log in and complete the application form, along with the personal, academic and exam-related information.

While filling the application form, you have to:

• Choose exam medium and 3 exam city preferences
• Provide the permanent and correspondence address

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

How many candidates registered for NEET?

The NEET UG is largest UG Exam, more than 20 lakh candidates register every year.

As per the current updates, the registration for NEET 2026, is expected to increase around 20 to 23 lakh seat.

NEET 2026 Application Correction Window: Edit Mistakes Before Final Submission

The NEET Application Correction window, will allow the candidates to edit certain details in submitted form after the registration will close.

The NEET Exam Pattern 2026 is expected to be the same as the previous year. In 2025, NTA has shifted back to the PRE-COVID Era, and will continue in NEET 2026 as well. The NEET Exam will be conducted in an offline mode, in a pen-and-paper mode, including 180 MCQs, in 3 hours.

• For each correct answer, you will get +4 marks, and-1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer, which makes a total of 720 marks.
• The subject-based distribution is there, with Physics and Chemistry carrying 45 questions each, and Biology includes 90 questions.

The NEET Exam will be held in 13 different languages, where English is the final reference language used in case of any discrepancy.

Last year, the total marks in NEET were changed from 200 to 180, which removed the optional questions & NEET duration was reduced from 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes) to 3 hours (180 minutes).

The NMC has released the final NEET UG Syllabus 2026, with no major changes from NEET 2025. The NEET Syllabus follows the NCERT Class 11 and 12 format, ensuring continuity and predictability.

In NEET UG, Physics and Chemistry include 20 Units each, whereas Biology includes 10 Units. Whereas biology carries the highest weightage of 50%, Physics and Chemistry carries 25% each.

NTA has released the NEET UG Cutoff 2025 along with the results on June 14, 2025. To qualify NEET, the General category needs 686–144 marks (50th percentile), the OBC/SC/ST 143–113 marks (40th percentile).

• NEET Category-wise cutoff: For MBBS, General students need 600–650+ marks; for BAMS, around 400–500 marks. Reserved categories have lower cutoffs, like 300–450 for BAMS.
• NEET College-wise cutoff: Top colleges like AIIMS Delhi may need 680–700 marks (~30–500 ranks) for General. BHU’s BAMS cutoff is ~600 marks (~30,000 ranks) for General, ~450 marks (~50,000 ranks) for OBC/SC/ST.
