Overview

NID DAT is a two-stage entrance examination. The first stage, DAT Prelims, is a qualifying round that assesses candidates' design aptitude, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Those who qualify DAT Prelims are eligible to appear for DAT Mains, which includes studio tests, interviews, and other assessments. The exam evaluates a candidate's ability to think creatively, visualize ideas, and communicate effectively. Successful candidates gain admission to NID's campuses for design programmes.
