NMIMS NPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Economics
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in class 12 examination or equivalent in the first attempt from any recognized board including International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream.
- Candidates who hold IB certificate / & D.P. are ineligible for NMIMS NPAT 2025.
- Aspirants must have passed Mathematics / Statistics subject in class 12 examination or equivalent to be eligible for NMIMS NPAT 2025.
- In the case of IB candidates, they must have passed Standard Level (SL) Mathematics / Statistics to be eligible for NMIMS NPAT 2025.
- Candidates must mention class 12th aggregate marks of all the subjects they have appeared in the ICSE/CBSE examination during the online registration / re-admission through NMIMS NPAT 2025.
- For eligibility purposes, the aggregate percentage of all the subjects is considered at the time of admission. If the candidates have their result in percentile, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects will be considered.
- The maximum age limit for being eligible to appear in NMIMS NPAT 2025 is 25 years.
- The candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in writing.
- The candidates who have yet to receive their final mark sheet but are called for admission counseling will be allowed provisional admission on the basis of NMIMS NPAT merit list. Such candidates will have to submit the fees but only the submission of the final mark sheet before the program commences will confirm their admission. For confirming their eligibility, they will have to submit a copy of the AIU notification for the equivalence of their program to the class 12 examination.

1. Pre – Registration
Candidates will have to register themselves on the Institute Website prior to applying for the exam.

2. Application Form Filling
- Access the application form through the login link on the NMIMS NPAT website, generally found under step 3 in the 'How to apply' section.
- Login details are sent via email upon registration; use these to access the form.
- Fill in basic details like address, academic information, and the 10th standard roll number. Ensure you have the required documents on hand during the application process.
- Candidates can opt for multiple courses, but note that the application fee varies based on the number of courses selected.
- Selection of exam centers allows three preferences; once allotted, the center cannot be changed. Candidates can also choose their preferred institute and location.
- Review all entered data thoroughly before submitting the form. Once satisfied, proceed to submit the application.
3. Uploading Images
- Make sure it's a recent one that fits the university's guidelines.
- Keep it under 500 kb and take it against a white or light-colored background.

NMIMS NPAT 2026 Application Form Correction
NMIMS NPAT 2026 application Form can be corrected online till the last date of application submission. The institute does not permit the correction of the basic details of the candidate post submission of the application form. However, candidates can edit the below details only:

Exam Pattern
NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Pattern will vary with the question paper sets for the exam to be held in 2 shifts. There will be 2 Papers in each shift. Paper 1 is common test and Paper 2 is especially for design subject (only for B.Des Program). NMIMS NPAT 2025 will be conducted from March 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025 through computer-based mode.
- Duration of Paper-1 is 1 hour and 40 min which is divided into 3 parts for 3 sections i.e. 40 questions in each section. Each section has 40 minutes. Total marks for Paper-1 are 100 marks and no negative marking scheme.
- Paper-2 has objective type multiple choice 60 questions equally divided into 3 sections i.e. 20 questions in each section. Each section has 30 minutes. Maximum marks are 60 marks for Paper-2.
- Paper-1 is common for all candidates and covers 3 subjects: Quantitative & Numerical Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence and Proficiency in English Language and Paper 2 is to be taken by candidates applying for B.Des Program. This test will be started after 10 minutes of completion of Paper-1.

The exam pattern of NMIMS NPAT exam for Non-Engineering courses is as given below.
NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Pattern is set to test reasoning, analytical, general intelligence, and command over the English Language. Weightage is given to questions topic-wise under each subject.
For every section, a specific time limit is set which will be indicated by a clock on the computer test screen. Navigating to a Question:
- To answer a question, do the following:
- For navigating fast from one to another question, click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of the webpage screen to reach a particular question. Answer to the existing questions will not be saved if navigates to another question.
- For saving answers click on Save & Next current question will be saved and next question will appear on the webpage screen.
- If review is required then click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the existing question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.
Answering a Question:
- How to make answer correctly to a multiple-choice type question:
- Click on the button (Radio or Check Button) shown with the options, this will show either DOT or Check Mark in it. The answer is done this way
- I need to deselect the selected option for an answer, again either click on the button of the chosen option or can click on the Clear Response button for deselecting the option
- For changing the selected option for an answer, click on the button of another option you like
- For saving answers, click on Save & Next button
- If a review of the option of the answer is required then click on Mark for Review & Next button.
- For changing the saved answer, select that question for changing the answer and then act as per the guidance for changing the answer option of the saved answer.
Navigating through sections:
- Shortcuts are available for having information rapidly about the sections in the paper. Look at the top bar of the computer test screen there are some shortcuts of section. By clicking on it one can have the required information.
- The next section will automatically be opened as the Save & Next Button is entered for saving the last question of the existing section.
- When Save & Next button on the last question for a section is clicked, the first question of the next section automatically opened.
- Navigating from one section to another is facilitated for convenience so any question in any section can be attended to easily.
Instruction Regarding NMIMS NPAT 2025
As per the regulations for NMIMS NPAT exam some instructions regarding the conduction of NMIMS NPAT 2025 for maintaining discipline, transparency, and smooth operations of all activities of the exam. The candidate must follow all the instructions.
- Keep valid admit card issued for NMIMS NPAT 2025 during exam
- No request will be entertained for attempting NMIMS NPAT 2025 exam without admit card whatsoever is the reason.
- Keep one original photo ID proof along with NMIMS NPAT Admit Card.
- Any document other than admit card and ID proof, any size and type of paper, mobile phone, analog watch, any communication device, calculator, and electronic devices and gadgets are not allowed in NMIMS NPAT exam hall.
- Don’t leave the exam hall without the permission of the invigilator
- Produce admit card and ID proof twice or thrice, whenever is asked to by the authorities, don’t be irritated
- Any food or beverage is not allowed to have during the exam. Only water can be taken with the prior permission of the invigilator or as per the instructions
- Conversation or discussion with any other candidate is not allowed. Such an act is deemed to be a punishable act.
- If there is some problem with the sitting facility or anything else that is creating a disturbance, don’t try to handle it on your own. Bring this to the notice of the invigilator and let him resolve the problem.
- If somebody comes with the candidate, he or she will not be allowed to enter in NMIMS NPAT examination center. Don’t expect exam center authorities to provide any facility as they are not instructed for the same so please don’t create an argument with any of the staff persons.
- Misbehavior in any manner or creating an undisciplined environment in NMIMS NPAT Examination Hall or troubling or not assisting in the process of the verification or checking in the exam with the invigilator, officials, and assisting staff deployed for the conduction of the examination will not be tolerated in any case and severe punitive action will be taken under the rules and regulation of the examination.

Results
The NMIMS will declare the NMIMS NPAT 2025 Result on 24 June 2025 at 5 PM on the official website. Initally the result dat was June 23, but it was delayed. The NPAT Merit list will be released by NMIMS for each course separately. The candidates can verify their qualifying status by logging in with their NPAT ID and date of birth.
To improve the selection chances for the NMIMS campus, the candidates must have 79 to 82 attempts correct for all the sections combined. The NPAT test comprises 3 sections: Verbal Ability, having 30–34 good attempts, Reasoning Ability (30–32), and Quantitative Aptitude (26–28), and the levels of difficulty are easy to moderate for all the sections.
To get admission to the main NMIMS, NMIMS Mumbai, one needs a competitive score between 69 and 71 out of 120, whereas other institutions, such as Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai, will have lower cutoffs between 66 and 70.
The overall NMIMS NPAT 2025 cutoff is determined by various factors like the difficulty level of the test, the students who appeared for the exams, and the number of seats.

NMIMS NPAT Courses and Fees

NMIMS NPAT 2025 Counselling
The NMIMS NPAT counselling will start from 25 June - 2 July 2025. This is an offline process. The BSc Economics course will commence from 10 July 2025, and courses like BBA, BCom, BSc Finance, and BBA FinTech will begin from 11 July 2025.
- The NMIMS counselling and admission process for the NMIMS campuses, Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh, will be conducted at their respective campuses.
- The Counselling and Admission process for all other campuses, including Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, and the Hyderabad campus, will take place at the MPSTME-Mumbai campus.
NMIMS NPAT 2025 Counselling Process
- Document Verification: The applicants should submit original documents, like Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, transfer certificates, category certificates (if any), NPAT admit card, and scorecard, to complete their verification for the NMIMS NPAT Counselling.
- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on merit, filled preferences made during application, and the remaining seats.
- Fee Payment: The candidate will have to pay the admission fee to secure their allotted seat after the seat allotment.

Ans. No, the NMIMS NPAT Results 2025 will be released on 24 June 2025. Candidates can check their results by logging into the official platform using their NPAT ID and date of birth.
Ques. What are the NPAT counseling dates?
Ans. The NPAT will start from 24 June to 2 July 2025. It is an offline process; the counselling process is conducted offline, and candidates must attend in person at the designated campus. The candidates who fail to attend the counselling session or complete the admission formalities within the given time may result in the disqualification from the counselling process.
