Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Eligibility Criteria 2027

Eligibility depends on the programme applied for. Applicants to postgraduate science and medical laboratory technology courses are required to hold a relevant bachelor degree from a recognised university, while applicants to clinical postgraduate courses must hold an MBBS degree or, for dental programmes, a BDS degree recognised by the competent medical or dental regulatory authority, and must have completed the compulsory rotating internship by the date fixed by the institute. Nationality conditions may also apply. Minimum qualifying marks, age limits, internship completion dates and category relaxations are stated in the PGIMER prospectus and official notification for the session concerned.
