RBSE 12th Syllabus 2025-2026: Overview

The RBSE Syllabus for Class 12 has not changed for the academic year 2025-2026. It remains the same as last year's syllabus. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) follows a different exam structure for each course it offers for Class 12.

The RBSE Class 12 exam is held for a total of 100 marks. Out of these, 80 marks are for the written exam and 20 marks are for the practical exam. Students get a total of 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the exam.

Exam Pattern and Question Format

The RBSE Class 12 exam is conducted offline. The question paper includes objective, short-answer, and long-answer questions.

Total Marks and Passing Criteria

Each subject in RBSE Class 12 carries 100 marks. This includes 80 marks for the written exam and 20 marks for the practical.

To pass, students need at least 33 marks in each subject. Marks must be obtained separately in theory and practical, if the subject has a practical part.

Practical Exam Rules

If a student fails in the practical exam, they cannot pass the subject. The student may have to reappear for the practical to clear the exam.

Dual Nature of Matter	Matter waves-wave nature of particles, de Broglie relation, Photoelectric effect, Hertz and Lenard’s observations; Einstein’s photoelectric equation-particle nature of light, Davisson-Germer experiment, etc.
Atoms and Nuclei	Bohr model, energy levels, hydrogen spectrum, Composition and size of nucleus, Alpha-particle scattering experiment; Rutherford’s model of atom; atomic masses, isotopes, radioactive decay law, etc.
