SOFT CET 2024 Application Form Released
The SOFT CET 2024 application form has been released. It is available on the official website, www.soft.ac.in, since October 1, 2023. The last date to apply is December 31, 2023.
SOFT Common Entrance Test (SOFT CET) is the entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the School of Fashion Technology. The official notification for SOFT CET 2024 is yet to be announced.
- Registration with a late fee is open from January 1 to January 20, 2024.
- Candidates must fill the form online, make the payment, and submit it on the website.
- There is no age limit for the exam. Candidates need to pass 10+2 in any stream.

SOFT CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
SOFT CET is conducted for admission to various courses at the School of Fashion Technology. The eligibility criteria for the entrance test are listed below.
- Age Limit: The university has not set any age limit for candidates.
- Citizenship/Residential Criteria: Candidates from any country or region can apply. NRI and foreign candidates are also invited to apply.
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must pass 10+2 in any stream for undergraduate courses. For postgraduate courses, a graduate degree in any stream (10+2+3 or equivalent) is required.
How to Fill SOFT CET 2024 Application Form
Eligible candidates can apply online from October 1 to December 31, 2023. The application is available on the official website of the School of Fashion Technology.
Students can register using a valid email ID or mobile number. Forms can also be sent to the university.
Online Application Process

- Click on the registration link at the bottom of the page. This will redirect to the online registration page.
- Register using a valid Email ID or Mobile Number.
- Fill in all personal details, contact details, and upload the required documents.
- Provide the following details in the application form:
- Name of Applicant
- Father’s Name
- Residential Address
- Gender
- Category
- Course
- Contact details
- Keep a soft copy of the documents in the specified format and size for uploading.
- I-Card size scanned photograph in JPEG format.
- The photograph must not have red-eye. Do not wear Caps, Hats, Dark Glasses, or anything that hides the face.
- Photograph size should be 25 to 100 KB.
- Upload all required documents in JPG format.
- Click the submit button after completing the application form.
SOFT CET 2024 Application Fee Payment
After submitting the application form, the application fee can be paid through Net Banking. Debit Cards and Credit Cards are also accepted for the transaction.
Payment can also be made through a bank Challan. Candidates must download the challan and pay the amount at the designated bank provided by the university at the time of registration.
- Payment by RTGS, NEFT, DD, or Cheque is not acceptable.
- Candidates should keep a hard copy of the challan for future reference.
- The registration process is completed once the application fee is submitted.
- After fee submission, the candidate becomes eligible to take the Mock test.
How to Retrieve SOFT CET 2024 Password
The registration ID and password are essential for logging into the student account for the Online SOFT CET. If the password or registration ID is lost, the 'Forgot Password' option below the login box can be used.
A link for updating the registration number or password is sent to the registered mobile number or email ID.

Yes, it is very important to save the Registration Number and Password as it is the only way to give the SOFT online test.
How many attempts are allowed to students?
Each candidate is allowed only one attempt. If the candidate wishes to appear again, she/he has to pay the examination fee again.
What are the other tests that a candidate requires to qualify for getting admission in SOFT?
Online Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview.
What is Material required for the Studio Test?
Material required to be brought by the candidates includes colors of any medium (Poster colors, wax crayons, sketch pens, color pencils), Drawing Pencils and Eraser, etc. The rest of the material is provided by the SOFT CET conducting Authorities.
