Overview
The JNTUH has started the TS PGECET 2026 registration on 27 February 2026 on its official website – pgecet.tgche.ac.in/. The TS PGECET 2026 exam is scheduled from May 28 to May 31, 2026.
The candidates can fill out the TS PGECET 2026 application form till 6th March 2026 without paying any late fees.
- The TS PGECET 2026 Exam will be conducted in a CBT Mode and will include 120 MCQs in a time duration of 2 hours. Each correct question will carry 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
- The General category candidates should score at least 30 marks from the total of 120 marks to qualify for the TS PGECET 2026 Exam, and for SC/ST Candidates, there are no minimum marks required.
The TS PGECET Exam is a state-level entrance exam to get admission into M. Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Des and M.Sc programs to get admission into different universities and affiliated colleges.

- Click on ‘Application Fee Payment’ under application section.
- Start filling in the details and proceed to the next steps.
Step 1: Application Fee Payment
Before filing TS PGECET 2026 Application Form, candidates must pay the application fee as per their category.
- Click on ‘Application Fee Payment’ tab.
- The following ‘Payment Verification’ page will appear.

TS PGECET 2025 Score Card
- TS PGECET 2025 Scorecard is released separately after the results were announced.
- Only those who qualify for the exam will have their names on PGECET merit list.
- Candidates must take a printout of the rank card as it will be required at the time of counseling and seat allotment procedure.
- At the time of preparing the rank cards, the admission authorities will allot ranks to candidates qualifying the examination with the qualifying percentage marks.
Qualifying Marks for TS PGECET

TS PGECET 2025 Merit List
TS PGECET 2025 merit list will be released tentatively in the first week of July, 2025. The merit list will be released on the official website in PDF format. The merit list will contain details regarding the overall rank and category-wise rank of the candidate. Merit List will form the basis for admissions in the universities and colleges affiliated with TS PGECET. TS PGECET 2025 Merit List will also specify course-wise cut-off in the exam.
Tie-breaking Criteria in TS PGECET 2025 Merit List
When two or more candidates score equal marks in TS PGECET, it will lead to a tie inTS PGECET merit list and result. In such a case, the candidates with equal marks cannot be given the same merit. TSCHE has defined a proper ground of tie-breaking rules, they are as follows:
- Candidates with more marks in qualifying degree examination will be preferred over the other candidate, in the case of equal marks scored in TS PGECET entrance exam.
- In the case candidates have secured equal marks in the qualifying degree examination too, the tie will be broken by giving preference to candidates older in age.
- If the candidates are of the same age, then the tie in TS PGECET merit list 2025 will be broken by draw of lots.
TS PGECET 2025 Cut Off 2025
The cut-offs are the minimum marks that a candidate must score in order to get his/her name in the merit list. TS PGECET 2025 Cut Off marks are different for each stream. The cut off marks for each stream depends upon the following parameters:
- Total number of registrations
- Candidates who appeared for the exam
- Difficulty level of the exam
- Total seats available
- A sectional score of the candidate

TS PGECET 2025 Counselling
After the declaration of results and rank card, the coordinating authorities will prepare a merit list. This list will carry the names of all the eligible candidates to participate in the counseling. The selection procedure will be conducted for each of the streams separately. GATE/ GPAT qualifiers will also have a separate counseling procedure.

- Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination, i.e., Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education.
- Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
- Residence certificate from M. R. O of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

TS PGECET 2025 answer key has been released on June 11, 2025 and available for download on the official website. Candidates who appeared in TS PGECET 2025 can now download TS PGECET 2025 answer key by using their hall ticket number and registration number. TSCHE will also open window to raise objections in TS PGECET answer key. TS PGECET 2025 is scheduled from June 10-June 13. Important points for TS PGECET 2025 answer key are:
