Vels Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria 2027

Candidates for undergraduate programmes must have passed or be appearing in the class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with the subject combination prescribed for the programme concerned. Candidates for postgraduate programmes must hold or be completing a bachelor degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university, and final year students may usually apply subject to producing their results before admission is confirmed. The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination, any relaxation for reserved category candidates, any age condition and the list of national test scores accepted in place of the university test are stated in the admission notification and prospectus issued for the year.
