Government Polytechnic, Mandi Adampur

The institute was established under the name Government Institute of Management & Pharmacy on September 20, 1985, with the aim of enhancing the employability of youth by equipping them with technical skills[reference:0][reference:1]. The institution is spread over an area of 18 acres, consisting of administrative and teaching blocks, a multipurpose hall, boys' and girls' hostels, a canteen, a playground, and 22 staff residences[reference:2]. The library has a collection of approximately 20,000 books, 20 magazines, 12 newspapers, 1,000 reference books, and 8 journals[reference:3].

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)[reference:4]. It runs under the vision 'PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION TO COMMON MAN'[reference:5].
