GS UNIVERSITY

Eminent physician, teacher, author, broadcaster and a recipient of several national awards, Prof. (Dr.) Yatish Agarwal, took the office of Vice Chancellor, G.S. University. Dr. Agarwal has been a WHO Fellow to Mahidol University, Thailand (2005), and Fellow to Foundation for Detection of Early Gastric Carcinoma, Tokyo, Japan (1998). He has authored more than 60 books, a large body of scientific articles and has had columns in national dailies and journals since 1981. His works have sold more than 3 million copies.

Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Ganga Saran Sharma conferred 35thTP Jhunjhunwala National Excellence Award in a glittering ceremony in New Delhi, where he was presented a citation and a bronze Nataraja statue by Padma Bhushan parliamentarian Dr. Sonal Mansingh and former Editor, Hindustan Times Group and Chair of the Foundation, Shila Jhunjhunwala.

Nursing Staff at GS University celebrated the International Nurses Day by organizing a medley of cultural events. The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by the Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Ankit Sharma.
