Haridwar University

Haridwar University, (formerly known as Roorkee College of Engineering), is a private, UGC-recognized university located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Established in 2010, the university is approved by the Government of Uttarakhand and recognized by AICTE, PCI, INC, and AIU. Haridwar University has also been ranked 69th in the Animation category in the MyKollege 2025 rankings.

Haridwar University offers UG, PG, and PhD courses across various specializations. It offers these courses through five colleges: Roorkee College of Smart Computing, Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee College of Business Studies, Roorkee College of Agricultural Sciences, and Roorkee College of Allied Health Sciences. Haridwar University conducts its own entrance test, the HUAET (Haridwar University Admission Entrance Test), along with accepting JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET, and GATE scores.
