The eligibility criteria for MBBS at ACMS are 10+2 in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with 60% marks. MBBS admission is based on NEET UG followed by MCC Counselling.

ACMS Eligibility and Selection Criteria 2025
ACMS eligibility for MBBS admission is based on 10+2 in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with 60%, NEET UG score, and should belong to an Army background. Candidates have to apply at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (@ipu.ac.in or @admissions.nic.in) for admission to the ACMS. Admission to MBBS is based on NEET UG, followed by MCC Counselling. Based on the NEET UG score, candidates have to register for MCC Counselling @mcc.nic.in.
ACMS Admission Process 2025
The admission to the ACMS is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, ex-Army personnel and war widows/widowers of the Army. The children of the following categories of Army personnel are eligible, and they are required to submit the relevant certificate as given against the category applicable to them as proof of their eligibility for admission to ACMS at the time of Counselling/Admission. The applicants must fall into one of the following categories
- Children of serving Army personnel with a minimum of 10 years of continuous service in the Army.
- Children of Ex-Army personnel granted/awarded regular pension, family pension, liberalised family pension or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge or Release/Invalidment Medical Board. This includes children of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pension.
- Children of Ex-Army personnel who have taken discharge or been released after ten years of service.
Additional Documents required to be produced in Original along with a photocopy at the time of counselling/Admission to ACMS:
- Proof of eligible category (Submit Certificate as Applicable).
- Original & Photocopy of PPO, Service Record/Discharge Book, Identity Card/Serving Certificate and Dependent Card.
- Willingness Certificate

Ques. Does ACMS offer direct admission to MBBS?
Ans. No, ACMS does not offer direct admission to the MBBS program. ACMS admission is strictly based on the NEET UG entrance exam. Candidates must qualify in NEET and participate in the counselling process conducted by MCC. Candidates must register on the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for admission to ACMS and follow the counselling process for seat allocation. There is no NRI quota or management quota for direct admission.
Ques. Do candidates from a non-Army background get admission to ACMS?
Ans. No, ACMS does not offer MBBS admission to candidates from non-Army backgrounds.
Admission at ACMS is exclusively reserved for the children and widows of serving and retired Army Personnel. Civilians or applicants with no Army background are not eligible for admission to the ACMS.
Candidates from Navy, Air Force, and Paramilitary backgrounds like CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, etc., are also not eligible for the seats at ACMS.
Ques. Is there any age limit for MBBS admission at ACMS?
Ans. The minimum age to apply for MBBS at ACMS is 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year. While the upper limit must be no older than 25 years as of 31st December 31st of the admission year.
