AIEED 2026 Highlights

The All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) is conducted by the Arch College of Design and Business. It is a national-level exam for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) design programs.

AIEED 2026 Application Process

AIEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria

AIEED 2026 Exam Pattern

Students can score a maximum of 500 marks in AIEED 2026. The exam is divided into three main components.

• General Ability Test (GAT) covers 100 marks.
• Creative Ability Test (CAT) covers 200 marks.
• Portfolio and PI covers the remaining 200 marks.

The Situation Test and Group Discussion will be conducted on campus from April 6 to 18, 2026.

The AIEED 2026 application process has started on 1st November, 2025 on the official website. Eligible students must fill out the application form to appear in the examination.

How to Apply for AIEED 2026?

• Log on to the official website of AIEED and register using valid contact details including email and phone number.
• After registration, the AIEED registration number and password will be sent to the candidate's email address.
• Login using the registration number and password, then fill out the AIEED application form with personal details, address, gender, qualification details, test center preferences, course, and other required information.
• Upload all the required documents and pay the application fee as prescribed by the concerned authority.
• After the AIEED 2026 application fee payment, review and submit the application form.

AIEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfill the required AIEED 2026 eligibility criteria before applying. The eligibility criteria are different for UG and PG courses.

AIEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

• Students must have completed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS) as per UGC guidelines to be eligible for AIEED 2026.
• Students in class 10+1 can also appear for AIEED 2026. Such students will be eligible for direct admission in the 2026 academic year provided they clear the PoA and Interaction stage.

• Students who have completed graduation in any field from any recognized university are eligible for AIEED PG admissions.
• Aspirants who are pursuing their graduation are also eligible for AIEED 2026 PG admission.

AIEED 2026 Result

AIEED 2026 result will be declared by Arch College of Design and Business within a few days after completing the examination. Students can follow the steps below to download the AIEED result.

AIEED 2026 Counselling Process

After the release of the AIEED 2026 result, Arch College of Design and Business will conduct counseling for admission to UG and PG courses. The counseling for UG and PG courses will be conducted separately.

Only candidates who qualify for the screening test will be eligible to participate in AIEED 2026 counseling. Students must submit all the required documents to secure their seats.

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the merit list based on the scores obtained in the GAT and CAT.
• Students must submit a portfolio and participate in a personal interview to be eligible for further counseling rounds.
• Final AIEED 2026 seat allotment will be released based on performance in GAT, CAT, Portfolio & PI, availability of seats, and preferences made by the candidates.

AIEED 2026 Selection Process

Candidates are required to go through a screening process to get admission to UG & PG design courses. Students will be required to go through 3 stages during the screening process.

• Stage I: Psychological Endowments for Design (PED) followed by completion of CATA Tasks + completion of Statement of Purpose (SoP) & Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) and the submission through the uploading of CATA, PoA, SoP. In this stage, students will be tested for various skills including empathy, appreciation, creativity, toughness, Openness, Perseverance & Focus, Sense of Humour, etc. Students are also required to submit their SoP and PoA.
• Stage II: Interaction. In this stage, students will be required to interact with the admission panel which includes an Interview, portfolio review, and SoC (statement of capabilities).
• Stage III: Result Declaration. This stage includes the release of the AIEED 2026 final result based on the AIEED 2026 merit list. Students must then proceed to complete the remaining admission formalities and secure their admissions.

AIEED 2025 Overview

The All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) is conducted by ARCH Academy of Design for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots in online mode.

AIEED 2025 will be carried out in 3 phases. The exam will be conducted in nearly 13 cities across India.

The exam checks the aptitude and creativity skills of students required for the field of fashion designing. Candidates must meet the AIEED eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

AIEED eligibility criteria provide all the information required for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes at ARCH Academy of Design. An aspirant must meet all the mentioned eligibility conditions to apply for the Design Entrance Exam.

For Undergraduate Programmes (Duration: 4 years)

• Minimum qualification: Students who have appeared for or cleared Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines).
• Candidates who wish to complete their 4 year UG program from ARCH have an opportunity to culminate their studies with a 'Top Up' degree of 1 year from any of the Pearson Edexcel listed Universities around the world.
• Age Criteria: Aspirants have to complete 16 years of the lower age limit to apply for UG Design Courses.
• Score Validity: Students with a valid NATA score or AIEEE rank are exempted from the AIEED Exam and will be called for interview directly.
• Class 10+1 Students can also write AIEED 2025. Qualifying students will be eligible for direct admission in the Academic year 2019 after clearing the interview.

For Postgraduate Programmes (Duration: 2 years)

• Minimum qualification: Graduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognized university can apply for this programme.
• Age Criteria: Applicants appearing for PG Design courses have to complete 21 years of age as the lower limit. They are eligible for the Strategic Management & Leadership Programme as well as the Design Management Programmes.
• No other previous learning achievements are considered as requirements for admission. These aspirants can culminate their studies with a 'Top Up' MBA degree in 6 months from any of the Pearson Edexcel listed Universities around the world after finishing the Pearson Edexcel BTEC Level 7 programme at ARCH.
• Score Validity: MBA aspirants can apply for Strategic Design Management and Strategic Management & Leadership with their recent CAT/MAT scores. They also have to clear the AIEED Exam and the Interview and submit their Statement of Purpose (SOP) prior to the Interview.

Note: A relaxation of five years has been given to PH/SC/ST candidates.

• Register on the site
• On successful completion of registering, you will receive an email/sms

• Keep ready scanned passport-sized photograph and scanned marksheets of class 10, 12 and graduation
• All these should be uploaded with the form
• Take a printout of it
• Pay the application fee and submit the form online

AIEED Application Fee

The cost of the application form is INR 3000. One can pay the application fee either using Debit/Credit Card or net banking.

Applicants can also pay through Demand Draft. The Demand Draft should have your name and phone number at the back. The DD should be drawn in favour of "Arch Educational Society" payable at Jaipur.

Application Receipt and Acknowledgment

Once the institute receives your completed application form with payment, an auto-generated email will be sent to you indicating your successful completion of application and payment.

Corrections After Form Submission

No corrections are allowed once the application form is submitted. Candidates cannot change the mode of examination after submission without valid reasons.

For a valid reason, a candidate can request a change by writing to admission@archedu.org at least 5 days before the exam date. The ARCH management has full authority to grant or refuse the request. If accepted, the candidate will be informed by mail only.

AIEED Registration FAQs

Application Process for NRI/Foreign Nationals

Foreign Nationals and NRI candidates must submit specific documents along with the Application form. The required documents are:

• An attested copy of the relevant pages of passport
• Equivalence Certificate issued by the concerned Embassy validating the educational qualifications of the candidate
• Attested copy indicating the proof of status of NRI/Foreign National
• NRI/Foreign Nationals can only make the payment of Application fee through DD. Demand Draft of $ 75 in favor of "ARCH Educational Society", payable at Jaipur. It must be sent to the ARCH office mentioned before.

Parameters of Selection

The AIEED 2025 Selection Procedure involves different parameters for final selection of candidates. These include the AIEED 2017 exam result (NATA Score), previous performance in education, and performance in Interview and portfolio.

What is the Portfolio?

A portfolio needs to be shared with the conducting authority in advance. It is a collection of any previous creative work done by the candidate.

This includes illustrations, photographs, sketches, essays, prose, and even films and slideshows that can be shown on a mobile phone. A portfolio shows the candidate's interests and abilities.

Passport Photograph Specifications

One scanned passport size photograph of the candidate is required for online submission of forms. The photograph must be 1 MB in size and in jpg/jpeg format.

AIEED Admit Card

Candidates can download their AIEED 2025 admit card before 7 days of the examination. The admit card can be obtained using the email ID or control number and password.

AIEED Result 2025 Declaration

The AIEED 2025 Result will be declared through online mode only. Results are declared after seven days of the examination.

AIEED 2024 is held in online mode in different phases. The exam is conducted in three stages.

Three Stages of AIEED 2024

• General Ability Test (GAT): Conducted in online mode. It has 60 questions worth 100 marks. The duration is 2 hours. Questions come from Design sensibilities, Logical Reasoning, design-related awareness, awareness on global issues, and Concepts Comprehension.
• Creative Ability Test (CAT): Conducted in online mode. It has 50 questions to be completed in 3 hours. The total marks are 200. The exam covers Articulation Skills (written and visual), Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking and Creative Problem Solving, and Awareness of Design Principles.
• Video, Portfolio and Personal Interaction: The duration is 30 minutes, worth 200 marks. It covers Composure, Focus and Clarity, General articulation skills, Depth of thinking, and Range of work in Portfolio.

Shortlisting for AIEED 2026 is based on a merit list prepared from your scores in the GAT and CAT. Final seat allotment depends on your performance in the GAT, CAT, Portfolio and Personal Interview, along with seat availability and your preferences.

The selection process has three stages:

• Stage I: Psychological Endowment for Design (PED), followed by CATA tasks, Statement of Purpose (SoP) and Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) submission.
• Stage II: Interaction with the admission panel, including an interview, portfolio review and statement of capabilities.
• Stage III: Result declaration based on the merit list, after which you complete the remaining admission formalities.

AIEED 2024 Result Overview

The AIEED 2024 result will be announced 7 days after the commencement of the examination. AIEED (All India Entrance Examination for Design) is conducted by ARCH Academy of Design every year.

Through this exam, deserving candidates get admission to various UG and PG design courses. AIEED 2024 is a National Level entrance examination for screening students for design courses offered by ARCH Academy of Design.

AIEED 2023 results will be announced on the official website of ARCH Academy of Design (http://www.aieed.com/).

• Candidates need to enter their roll number to see their results.
• The results of the AIEED 2023 online exam will be informed to candidates within 7 days of examination through SMS.

Candidates can see how well they have performed in AIEED 2023 when they get the scorecard. The scorecard will let them know whether they have qualified in the examination.

They can get an idea of their performance in the written examination. ARCH Academy of Design provides a separate Answer Key for each set.

Candidates can choose the Answer Key from the official website for the question paper set. They can check the scores and results through the Answer Key. It will be almost equal or close to the official results.

AIEED Merit List

The AIEED 2024 Merit List will be displayed on the official website of the conducting authority after the results are announced. Candidates must check the merit list to see if they have been selected and called for counselling.

The merit list will be finalized by ARCH Academy of Design within 15-20 days of the examination.

AIEED Cut Off

Cut off is the minimum percentage or mark that the candidate requires to get in order to qualify in the examination. Candidates can estimate whether they have qualified in AIEED 2024 by taking a look at the cut off marks.

AIEED 2024 Cut Off marks will be available on the official website of ARCH Academy of Design.

AIEED Counselling

Counselling for courses will be held in the third week of April 2023. Candidates who qualify in the examination will be called for counselling based on their merit list position.

AIEED 2024 Counselling Venue

AIEED 2024 counselling will be held at ARCH Campus, Jaipur. The counselling is conducted by ARCH Academy of Design.

ARCH Academy of Design will conduct the interview after the AIEED 2023 results are announced. Selected candidates will be called to the campus for counselling.

Counselling Schedule

The counselling dates differ for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.

• UG courses: Third week of April 2024
• PG courses: Third week of February 2024 to first week of March 2024
