DU LLB 2025 Admission Overview
DU LLB 2025 admission will be through CUET UG scores. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will commence in May 2025. Candidates must appear for the 'COQP 11' paper in CUET UG for LLB in DU.
General candidates have to secure a 250+ score. OBC/SC/ST category candidates have to secure 210+ in the DU LLB entrance exam. DU offers 3 years of LLB courses to graduate students.

How to Apply for DU LLB 2025
Candidates have to appear for the CUET UG exam in May 2025. Clearing the cutoff is required to apply for the DU LLB course.
The registration form will be available on the official website https://lawfaculty.du.ac.in/. Candidates need to fill up the form and pay the registration fee.
Seats will be allotted through the counselling process. Delhi University will perform the counselling in three rounds. Seat allotment will be based on choices, merit and availability of seats.
Eligibility Criteria
To get admission to DU for an LLB degree, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
Unreserved/OBC-NCL/EWS category candidates need to secure 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. SC/ST/PwBD category candidates need a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
There is no age criteria for admission to the DU LLB course.

DU LLB 2025 Exam Pattern
To get admission to DU for the LLB course, candidates need to qualify the CUET UG exam. Candidates have to appear for the 'COQP 11' paper in the exam.
A total of 75 MCQs will be asked in the exam. Candidates will get +4 for each correct response and -1 for each incorrect response.
The total marks will be 300. Candidates will get 105 minutes to complete the paper. The exam consists of General Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Awareness/Current Affairs and Computer.
DU LLB Preparation Strategy
The DU LLB question paper has a moderate to high difficulty level. Preparation should begin at least 6 months before the exam date.
Scoring only the qualifying marks is not enough for admission. A score of 250+ is required in the exam. Every topic in Mathematics is important, so each one needs regular practice. R.S Agarwal's book can be used for daily practice.
Important topics include numbers, simplifications, LCM & HCF, and basic arithmetic like percentage, average, and profit and loss. These basic topics form the base for solving other questions. Practising with a timer helps in completing questions within the exam time.
For English, the Wren and Martin Grammar book is recommended. Norman Lewis is a good option for vocabulary. Basic questions are asked in English, so studying these two books thoroughly can help answer the exam questions.
Reading newspapers helps in learning about the economy, politics, personalities, books, and other topics for General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Online readymade PDFs for current affairs are also available. Static GK is more important than other topics and needs more focus. Lucent's General Knowledge book can be used for the General Knowledge section.
Computer is an important subject in this exam, with 14-15 questions asked from it based on previous years' trends. The questions are basic, so the NCERT book is sufficient for preparation.

DU LLB 2024 Eligibility Criteria
DU LLB admission is now done through the CUET PG exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2024.
Nationality
Indian Nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them. This is done in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India.
Age Limit
There is no minimum or maximum age limit to sit for the CUET PG entrance examination.
Educational Qualifications
A candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields. NTA has not set any minimum qualifying marks. However, it is advised to score 50% or above in aggregate to keep yourself on the safe side.
Who Can Apply
Tata Institute of Social Sciences has laid out a few factors that determine if a candidate is eligible to fill the CUET PG application form. They are as follows:
- The 'Pass Class' indicated in the Bachelor's Degree of the candidate is used to determine their eligibility.
- Candidates in the final year of 3 or 4 years of graduation who have not cleared all the courses (main, major or substitute) of the 1st and 2nd year are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates with a 10+2+2+1 bridge course pattern or any other pattern with 15 years of formal education from a recognized university/institute are eligible to apply.
- Only candidates who can complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by June 2024 are eligible to apply to all TISS Courses.
- If any information in the application form is found to be incorrect or misleading, the candidature will be cancelled.
- A candidate who has failed in the final year exam of their Bachelor's Degree will not be allowed to take part in the entrance exam for admission to TISS programs.
- Candidates who are given provisional admission but fail in the final year will not be allowed to continue the program.
- Candidates must produce all original marksheets and documents at the time of the interview. If they fail to do so, they may be given provisional admission, provided they submit the mark sheets by the specified date.
DU LLB 2024 Eligibility: Category-wise Relaxation
Delhi University has set minimum qualifying marks for LLB course admission. General category candidates need 50% marks.
A 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST/CW/PwBD/CW categories.

DU LLB has been replaced by the CUET PG 2024 exam. The registration process for CUET PG is entirely online. Approximately 4,63,000 students registered for the CUET PG 2024 exam.

Faculty of Law, Delhi University organizes Delhi University counselling. The mode is offline, meaning candidates have to report at the university campus as per the allocated schedule.

Question Paper
CUET PG 2024 practice papers of LLB course are going to be available very soon. As per CUET PG 2024 exam pattern, there will be a total of 75 MCQs. There will be +4 marks for every correct and -1 for all incorrect attempts. Also, there is no mark deduction for unattempted questions. DU LLB exam has been replaced by CUET PG.
