AYUSH NEET Counselling 2026 is the centralized admission process for undergraduate AYUSH courses based on NEET UG scores. The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) conducts this counselling for the 2026-27 academic session. AACCC functions under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of AYUSH.

Eligibility Criteria for AYUSH NEET Counselling 2026

To participate in AYUSH NEET Counselling 2026, candidates must meet both academic and NEET qualifying requirements. The criteria are listed below.

Academic Eligibility

• Candidate must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology must have been studied as main subjects in Class 12.

Choice filling is the most important step in AYUSH NEET Counselling 2026. Your rank sets the ceiling on what you can get, but your choice list decides what you actually get.

How to Fill Choices

• Log in to the AACCC portal during the active choice-filling window
• Browse colleges by state, institute type (Government, Deemed, Central, National), or course
• Add all colleges and courses you are willing to join to your preference list — more choices mean more chances
• Arrange your list in strict priority order with the most preferred college at the top
• You can edit choices any number of times during the window; choices visible at closing time are used for allotment
• Lock choices before the deadline. If you do not lock manually, the system auto-locks at the deadline

How Allotment Works

Allotment runs automatically based on your NEET UG 2026 rank, category, and the priority order of your choices. The system goes through your list from top to bottom and allots the first seat for which your rank qualifies. If your rank does not qualify for any listed choice, you receive no seat in that round.

Post-Allotment Options

After a seat is allotted, you have three decisions:

• Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further upgradation rounds. Proceed to physical reporting
• Float: Accept the current seat provisionally and also participate in the next round for a better option. If a better seat comes in the next round you move there; if not, your current allotment holds
• Slide: Upgradation only within the same college or course — for example, securing a government seat in the same institution

If you are allotted a seat and do not respond within the specified acceptance window — neither accept nor withdraw — your allotment is automatically cancelled and the seat is released to the pool.

Candidates should register with both AACCC and their state counselling authority. Getting a seat in AIQ does not bar a candidate from state quota, and vice versa.
