RPVT Application Dates 2024

The RPVT exam has been replaced. Rajuvas University will now use the NEET UG 2024 score for admission to its B.V.Sc. and B.H. programs. NEET UG 2024 is scheduled for May 05, 2024.

The NEET UG 2024 registration process has started. The last date to submit the application form is March 9, 2024, till 5 PM. The application fee can be paid till 11:50 PM on the same date.

NEET UG 2024 Eligibility

The minimum age is 17 years as of December 31, 2024. General/ EWS candidates must pass Class 12 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics with 50% aggregate marks.

OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates require 40% aggregate marks. The application form can be filled online at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.

RPVT (NEET UG) 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NEET UG 2024 are detailed below. Candidates must meet the nationality, age, and qualification requirements.

How to Fill NEET UG 2024 Application Form

The NEET UG 2024 registration process has three steps. A valid email ID and mobile number are required for OTP verification.

Step 1: Registration

Visit the website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET to fill the application form online. Create a strong login password and choose a security question. Note down the login password for all future logins.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

Log in with the system-generated Application Number and the pre-created password. Fill in all personal details, select the paper, choose Examination Cities, and provide Educational Qualification details. Upload the required documents. Select four convenient cities from the list as exam centers.

Step 3: Upload Images and Documents

  • Recent photograph in color or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background: JPG or JPEG format within 10 KB to 200 KB
  • Scanned signature: JPG or JPEG format within 4 KB to 30 KB
  • Scanned copy of PwD certificate (if applicable): PDF format within 10 KB to 300 KB

There is no provision for making corrections after submission. You will be unable to edit or modify details until the form correction window opens for a few days. Successfully registered students can download the NEET UG 2024 admit card, most likely from the last week of April 2024.

RPVT 2024 Application Form Details

The Rajasthan Pre University Veterinary Test (RPVT) 2024 application process is conducted online. Candidates must register and fill the form in steps.

Step 1: Registration

Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate must supply the required details while filling the Online Application Form.

The candidate is also required to create a PASSWORD and choose a Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated.

This Application Number will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference and correspondence. This application number will only be used for NEET (UG) – 2024.

For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system-generated Application Number and created Password.

Step 2: Application Form

Students can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form. This includes filling up personal details, applying for the Paper, and choosing the Examination Cities.

Candidates must also provide the details of Educational Qualifications and upload the images and documents, if any.

Step 3: Uploading Images and Documents

The guidelines for uploading images are as follows:

Note: The Candidate has to upload only his/her own photograph, signature, and certificate(s) as mentioned above in a correct and proper manner. The facility for correction will not be given in the future.

If it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used or uploaded the photograph, signature, and certificate(s) of someone else in his/her Application Form or Admit Card, these acts shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices. The candidate shall be proceeded with the actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to Unfair Means Practices.

Please check your photograph and signature before submission of the Application Form. In case the photograph or signature is blurred or not visible to identify the identity of the candidate, the application will be rejected and no option for correction or revision will be permitted.

Step 4: Payment of NEET UG 2024 Application Fees

After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services.

Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate in addition to the examination fee by the concerned Bank or Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, the candidate may have to approach the concerned Bank or Payment Gateway for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate or multiple payments.

How to Resize Photo and Signature Images in NEET 2024 Application Form?

Candidates often face the issue of unacceptable image size. You can resize and compress scanned images of your photograph and signature using MS Paint to meet the specifications in the NEET official notification.

  • Click on the ‘windows’ key on your desktop or laptop and search for paint
  • Open ‘MS Paint’ in your computer
  • Press ‘Ctrl+O’ and browse to the scanned images of your photograph/signature.
  • Now, press ‘Ctrl+W’ to open “Resize and Skew” window
  • Switch to Pixels instead of Percentage
  • Enter the specified pixels mentioned in notification for Photograph/Signature
  • Go to File tab and click on “Save As”
  • Choose ‘JPG/JPEG’ format and save the image in the desired location on your desktop.

How to Reset NEET UG 2024 Application Form Password?

If you have forgotten your NEET UG 2024 login password, follow these steps to reset it:

  • Visit the official website and go to the candidate login.
  • Click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  • You will be redirected to the password generation page.
  • Reset your password by generating an OTP or by answering the security question.
  • Fill up the fields and enter your new password.

Important Instructions Related to NEET UG 2024 Login Password

Follow these instructions for your NEET UG 2024 login password:

  • During online form filling, the candidate will be required to choose PASSWORD and Security Question and its Answer. The candidate is advised to record/remember their password for all future logins.
  • For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with their respective system-generated Application Number and the chosen Password.
  • The candidate is advised not to disclose or share their password with anybody. Neither NTA will be responsible for the violation or misuse of the password of a candidate.
  • Candidates can change his/her passwords after login if desired.
  • Candidates should remember to log out at the end of their session so that the particulars of the candidate cannot be tampered with or modified by unauthorized persons.
  • The password must be 8 to 13 characters long. It must have one upper case, one lower case letter, one numerical value, and one special character.

RPVT 2021 Exam Highlights

Rajuvas University will now consider NEET UG 2024 score for admission into B.V.Sc. and B.H. courses in place of RPVT. NEET UG 2024 exam pattern is offline OMR sheet based.

The exam pattern of NEET UG 2024 includes four subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 Questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions.

NEET (UG) is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) since 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The test is administered for admission in MBBS and other allied medical programs.

As per NEET UG exam analysis, it is one of the top 10 toughest exams. If we talk about the last academic year's exam analysis:

  • Zoology and Botany papers to be easy but lengthy with a few tricky and challenging questions
  • Questions from inorganic chemistry chapters of NEET syllabus to be more difficult than organic and physical chemistry
  • Physics to be moderate with maximum questions of numerical-type

As per NEET UG 2024 exam pattern, you will be allotted with a total 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Out of these 200, you will be required to answer 180 questions. Each correct attempt reward +4 marks and there is a -1 marks deduction per incorrect answers. Although, unanswered questions will be marked as 0. The aforementioned marking scheme is applicable for both Section A and B.

You must complete NEET UG 2024 question paper within 3 hours and 20 minutes. You can appear for the exam in any of 13 languages (English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

For Section A (MCQs): To answer a question, the candidates need to choose one option corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:

RPVT Marking Scheme

The Rajasthan Pre University Veterinary Test (RPVT) follows a clear marking scheme for both sections. Each correct answer in Section A and Section B carries four marks.

Section A Marking Scheme

Section A consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The marking rules for this section are listed below.

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
  • Any incorrect option marked: Minus one mark (-1)
  • Unanswered: No mark (0)
  • If more than one option is found to be correct, Four marks (+4) will be awarded only to those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all options are found to be correct, Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
  • If none of the options is found correct, or a question is found to be wrong, or a question is dropped, all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4). This applies whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

Section B Marking Scheme

For Section B (MCQs), candidates need to attempt any 10 questions out of the 15 questions given. If a candidate attempts more than 10 questions, only the first 10 attempted questions will be considered for evaluation.

There is negative marking for Section B as well. If any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it will be addressed in the following manner:

  • Correct Answer: Four marks (+4)
  • Incorrect Answer: Minus one mark (-1)
  • Unanswered: No mark (0)
  • If more than one option is found to be correct, Four marks (+4) will be awarded only to those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If a question is found to be incorrect or the question is dropped, Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
  • Candidates are advised to do the calculations with the constants given (if any) in the questions.

RPVT 2025 Inter se Merit for Tie Breaking

In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks/percentile scores in the NEET (UG) - 2025, the inter-se-merit shall be determined as follows:

RPVT 2025 Counselling

RPVT 2025 counselling will be organized by the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) for seat allotment. The counselling process is based on the exam result and merit list.

  • Multiple counselling rounds are held depending on the number of vacant seats.
  • Admission is granted on the basis of the RPVT 2025 exam result and merit list.
  • Candidates allotted seats must report to the Principal/Head/Dean of the allotted college with the required documents.
  • Physical presence is mandatory at the time of counselling.
  • Candidates who are not present in person for RPVT 2025 counselling are disqualified.

RPVT 2025 Answer Key

The RPVT 2025 answer key was released on August 8, 2025, on the official website rajuvas.org. Candidates could challenge the answer key until August 9, 2025 (5 PM).

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500/- per answer must be paid online through Student Login using the ID and Password. Challenges are verified by RAJUVAS with a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found correct, the answer key is revised and applied to all candidates' responses. The final result is prepared based on the revised answer key.

Admit Card

Rajuvas University will now administer NEET UG 2024 score for admission into B.V.Sc. and B.H. courses in place of RPVT. NEET UG 2024 admit card is expected to release in the last week of April 2024. NTA will release the admit card download link at the official website, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.

The admit card can be downloaded by those who have completed NEET UG 2024 registration process and paid the fees. You will be able to download your NEET UG 2024 admit card by entering application number, date of birth, and security pin. Following this, you must click on “NEET (UG) 2024 Admit Card Download Link” under “Candidate Activity” section.

NEET UG 2024 admit card can also be downloaded with the help of CSC i.e., Common Service Centres, a service started by NTA. Your name, date of birth, application number, exam center details, timing, date and guidelines will be on NEET 2024 admit card. Also check if there is any discrepancy like blurred images. If so, reach the helpdesk number between 10:00 am to 05.00 pm or write an email to NTA at neet@nta.ac.in. As per, NEET UG 2024 exam guidelines, you must reach the hall within 1 PM, to avoid any hassles.

Make sure to check each and every detail printed on your NEET Admit Card is correct. If you come across any discrepancy in the details given on the admit card, send an email at neet@nta.ac.in or call on the helpline numbers within the stipulated time. The common errors that may occur in your NEET Admit Card are mentioned below:

  • Your name’s spelling or any other personal information may be wrongly printed in your NEET Admit Card. 
  • Incorrect PwD status: In case you are a PwD candidate who has applied for a scribe, then make sure that the same is rightly mentioned on your NEET Hall Ticket.
  • Unclear photo or signature: At times, the photo and signature on your NEET Admit Card may not be clearly visible.
  • Wrong category or gender: Your category and gender must be correctly mentioned in your NEET 2024 Hall Ticket. If there is any discrepancy, do report the same to the concerned authorities.
  • Incorrect language choice: Another error in NEET Admit Card might be in the language medium you chose during the application process.

Documents to Carry at NEET UG 2024 Exam Hall

Applicants must carry 2 copies of RPVT 2024 Admit Card, 1 passport size photograph (same as that used for registration) and original identity proof. They can get any one of the following documents as photo identity proof:

  • One passport-size photo for pasting on the Attendance Sheet
  • One Post Card Size (4”X6”) color photograph affixed on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card
  • Valid ID proof in original and PwD certificate (if applicable)

Here are the list of instructions which you must abide by on the day of NEET UG 2024 exam as mentioned on your admit card:

  • Do not forget to carry your admit card in a fresh condition as per NEET UG 2024 exam day guidelines
  • A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature shall be cancelled\
  • No barred items like mobile phones, digital watches and study materials are allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Unfair means of practice are not acceptable and will lead to the cancellation of examination
  • No candidate will leave his/her seat or the Examination Room/Hall until the Test concludes as per the schedule. Candidates should not leave the Room/Hall without handing over their OMR Sheets to the invigilator on duty

NEET UG 2024 Exam Dress Code

On NEET exam day, candidates need to follow the dress code laid down by NTA for NEET UG 2024 exam. The main purpose of providing NEET UG 2024 exam dress code is to ensure proper frisking of the candidates and fair conduct of the examination.

  • Avoid wearing shoes. Instead wear slippers or sandals with low heels.
  • Light clothes with long sleeves should not be worn. However, light half-sleeved clothes can be worn.
  • You must avoid wearing any type of jewelry such as rings, bangles, necklaces, and earrings. Also, wearing heavy metal watches or metal bands should be avoided.
  • It is advised to avoid wearing jeans. Instead you should wear trousers.
  • Avoid wearing shoes with thick soles and clothes with large & heavy buttons.
  • If you wear specific clothing for cultural/ customary reasons, you must reach the test center at least an hour before the reporting time mentioned on your NEET Admit Card 2024.
  • In case you require any deviation from the dress code due to medical reasons, then you must take prior approval from the NTA before NEET Admit Card is issued.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Day Schedule

The Examination Centre will be opened two (02) hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 pm. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall:
