DU LLB 2024 Eligibility Criteria

DU LLB admission is now done through the CUET PG exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2024.

Nationality

Indian Nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them. This is done in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India.

Age Limit

There is no minimum or maximum age limit to sit for the CUET PG entrance examination.

Educational Qualifications

A candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields. NTA has not set any minimum qualifying marks. However, it is advised to score 50% or above in aggregate to keep yourself on the safe side.

Who Can Apply

Tata Institute of Social Sciences has laid out a few factors that determine if a candidate is eligible to fill the CUET PG application form. They are as follows:

  • The 'Pass Class' indicated in the Bachelor's Degree of the candidate is used to determine their eligibility.
  • Candidates in the final year of 3 or 4 years of graduation who have not cleared all the courses (main, major or substitute) of the 1st and 2nd year are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with a 10+2+2+1 bridge course pattern or any other pattern with 15 years of formal education from a recognized university/institute are eligible to apply.
  • Only candidates who can complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by June 2024 are eligible to apply to all TISS Courses.
  • If any information in the application form is found to be incorrect or misleading, the candidature will be cancelled.
  • A candidate who has failed in the final year exam of their Bachelor's Degree will not be allowed to take part in the entrance exam for admission to TISS programs.
  • Candidates who are given provisional admission but fail in the final year will not be allowed to continue the program.
  • Candidates must produce all original marksheets and documents at the time of the interview. If they fail to do so, they may be given provisional admission, provided they submit the mark sheets by the specified date.

DU LLB 2024 Eligibility: Category-wise Relaxation

Delhi University has set minimum qualifying marks for LLB course admission. General category candidates need 50% marks.

A 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST/CW/PwBD/CW categories.
