AIEED Exam Pattern 2024
The All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) 2024 pattern has been released by Arch Academy of Design. The academy offers B.Tech qualifications from the UK.
AIEED 2024 is held in online mode in different phases. The exam is conducted in three stages.
Three Stages of AIEED 2024
- General Ability Test (GAT): Conducted in online mode. It has 60 questions worth 100 marks. The duration is 2 hours. Questions come from Design sensibilities, Logical Reasoning, design-related awareness, awareness on global issues, and Concepts Comprehension.
- Creative Ability Test (CAT): Conducted in online mode. It has 50 questions to be completed in 3 hours. The total marks are 200. The exam covers Articulation Skills (written and visual), Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking and Creative Problem Solving, and Awareness of Design Principles.
- Video, Portfolio and Personal Interaction: The duration is 30 minutes, worth 200 marks. It covers Composure, Focus and Clarity, General articulation skills, Depth of thinking, and Range of work in Portfolio.
Note: GAT is compulsory for all candidates. CAT is only for undergraduate (UG) students.

AIEED 2024 Marking Scheme
AIEED 2024 exam is for 200 marks. The Creative Aptitude Test and General Aptitude Test together make up 200 marks.
There are 45 to 50 questions to be attempted. The question paper is bilingual, in Hindi and English. Students appear for the exam online and can answer in English or Hindi.
There is no negative marking in AIEED 2024. Marks per question may vary. A wrong answer only loses the marks allotted to that question, with no additional deduction.
AIEED 2024 Exam Pattern for Undergraduates
The AIEED 2024 undergraduate paper is of 200 marks. General Aptitude Test is compulsory for all aspirants.
GAT and CAT together are for 200 marks. The exam can be appeared both online and offline. Students can choose their mode and language. Online exams are taken at listed centers, requiring proper equipment and stable Wi-Fi connectivity.

AIEED Exam Pattern 2024 for Post Graduates
Undergraduate students with a valid AIEEE Rank, NATA Score, or NID Score are eligible for the direct interview process.

AIEED Post Graduate Eligibility
Any student who has completed graduation or is in the final year of graduation can apply for AIEED post graduate programs. A completed diploma is also accepted for admission.
The post graduate courses offered by the academy are for two years. The paper pattern for the post graduate exam is similar to the undergraduate paper pattern.

Important Instructions for AIEED 2024
Aspirants appearing for AIEED 2024 need to keep the following instructions in mind:
- The exam can appear only in English in the case of online mode.
- The question paper for online mode is bilingual.
- Students appearing for undergrad AIEED 2024 must have completed 16 years of age.
- Students appearing for postgraduate AIEED 2024 must have completed 19 years of age.
- Foreign National and NRI's can also appear for AIEED exams.
- Students applying for the examination through online mode must keep scanned copies of the required documents handy.
- Within seven days, the result of the online examinations is declared on the official website.
- Only qualified candidates are invited for the interview.
- On being selected, every student, irrespective of the campus they choose need to attend a counseling session/seminar in the Jaipur Campus.
- The final selection is completely based on merit, portfolio, previous exams and interview process.
- There is a limited number of seats for each program.
