BHU UET 2024 Replaced by CUET PG
BHU UET entrance exam 2024 has been replaced by CUET 2024. The CUET registration process for 2024 is over.
The CUET admit card 2024 is about to be released on March 7, 2024. The exam will start from March 11 to March 28, 2024. The admit card will be available at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
Some major changes have been made in the CUET PG exam pattern. Unlike the previous year, the General Test paper with each subject has been removed. Now the General Test Paper can be opted as a separate paper.
You can appear for a maximum of 4 paper codes with each paper comprising just 75 questions. CUET PG 2024 total marks are 300 and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect answers.
With only a month in hand for the CUET PG exam 2024, you must focus on revision, practice mock tests, and solve the previous year's question paper. You must not forget to revise the high-weightage topic.

BHU UET 2024 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for appearing for BHU UET 2024 entrance are as follows.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing in the last year of the qualifying test can apply for the entrance test. Such candidates must produce their original mark sheet of the qualifying exam at the time of counselling for admission.
Candidates who got admission as regular students to Part I / I-Semester in any course of this University through the Entrance Test in previous years cannot re-appear in the Entrance Test of the same course with the same subject-combination. This is not allowed unless exclusively granted by the Ordinance of the concerned Faculty.
If an applicant has completed the qualifying exam where only grades are given, he or she must present a ‘Certificate of conversion’ from the concerned Institution. This certificate must mention the method of conversion of grade point average to the percentage of marks.
- “Aggregate percentage of marks” will include grace marks given to an aspirant.
- The percentage of marks in the total will be calculated as mentioned in the final mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
- In cases of Graduate examination, the total marks will be calculated on the basis of 1800 marks.
- Degrees or Certificates recognized from any Indian University shall only be considered as equivalent degrees or certificates.
- Candidates from the Distance Education Council of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) or other Open Indian Universities (AIU) may be conditionally permitted to appear for the Entrance on producing approval of the courses.
- Application forms of applicants who have submitted fake certificates or taken up fake means are liable for rejection.
- Candidates can apply for courses for which they think they are eligible.

BHU UET 2024 Admit Card
BHU UET 2024 Admit Card will be released at the ‘BHU Entrance Test Portal’ at bhuonline.in. Candidates will be able to download the admit card with the registration ID allotted to them at the time of application form filling.
If any discrepancy occurs regarding the download of BHU UET Admit Card, the candidate must contact the university authority at least three days prior to the exam.

BHU UET 2024 Exam Pattern
The entrance test is an online exam with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The question pattern is the same for all courses, but the number of questions and time allotted vary.
The maximum time limit for the entrance is 2 hours. All courses carry 450 marks except B.Sc and Shastri (Hons). The total number of questions for all sections is 150.

BHU UET Answer Keys 2024
BHU will release the provisional answer keys of BHU UET 2024 on its official website, bhuonline.in. Candidates can check the answer key once it is released.
Candidates can challenge the answer key within the stipulated date if they find any issue. They can also calculate their score before the actual result is released using the BHU UET 2024 Answer Keys.
How to Download BHU UET 2024 Answer Keys
- Visit the official website of BHU at bhuonline.in.
- On the homepage, click on the "Download UET/PET Answer Keys" link.
- Click on the link stating "Course-wise entrance exam answer keys".
- Open and download the answer key.
How to Challenge BHU UET Answer Keys
For candidates who appeared for the CBT Mode exam:
- Visit the official website of BHU.
- Click on "CBT (Computer Based Test Mode) Challenge".
- The candidate login page will appear. Login using your roll number and password.
- Save your claims after challenging the answer keys.
- Pay the processing fee after clicking on "Click Here to Pay Fee". The fee is Rs. 100 for each challenge.
- The processing fee will be refunded if your challenge is correct.
For candidates who appeared for the PBT Mode exam:
- Visit the official website of BHU.
- Click on "OMR (Pen-Paper Mode) Challenge".
- The applicant's login page will appear. Login using email id, password, and captcha code.
- Challenge your desired question and click on "Save your claims".
- Pay the processing fee by selecting the appropriate payment mode.
- The processing fee will be refunded if the challenge is found correct.
BHU UET 2024 Result
BHU authority will release BHU UET 2024 results on the official website. The marks scored by applicants will be evaluated on the basis of overall merit.
- The merit of the category to which an aspirant belongs will be considered.
- The University has complete authority to set the minimum qualifying marks for different courses and categories.
- The Merit List will be prepared on the sum of marks obtained in theory and practical tests (optional).
- The result is considered equivalent to the merit list.
BHU UET 2024 Cut off
The cut off will be determined as soon as the BHU UET 2024 result is declared. The cut off will be evaluated on the following factors:
- Minimum qualifying marks and closing rank of the candidates.
- Admission will be done on the basis of the cut off marks.
BHU UET 2024 Counselling
The University will implement a computerized counseling process for admissions to all courses. The counseling process includes the following steps.
Step 1: Online Preference Entry
- Every candidate will be called for counseling for admission. They must fill up an online 'Preference Entry Form' which will be available online.
- Give your order of liking cautiously. None of the sections of the online preference form should be left blank. If any section is found blank, it will be assumed that the candidate has a lack of interest in that option. Candidates will be provided another opportunity of editing the entries thereafter. Admission to Paid Seats will be completed after the regular fee seats are full.
Step 2: Activity on the Counselling Day
- Reach the counseling venue at the given time and date mentioned in the Call letter.
- Contact the Counseling Centre or Venue In-charge and mark your attendance by signing on the attendance sheet.
- Discuss with the teachers available there about the available Honours or Course Combinations, locations and fee structures, and availability of hostels. You can modify your preference in this step. The university will allot seats strictly in order of merit in the entrance test.
- If the admission is done on a provisional basis, collect the Provisional Admission Letter from the Counseling Centre or Venue In-charge at 10:00 am on the next Counseling day. The Admission letter will include the course.
- Mode of remittance of Admission Fee: After receiving the provisional admission letter from the Counseling Centre, you can pay the Admission Fee through online payment via credit card or debit card, or pay in cash at the Fee Counters.
Step 3: Activity on the Next Counseling Date
Candidates must produce the proof of payment of admission fee to the Counseling In-charge within 04:00 pm if the payment is made offline. Failure to produce the proof of payment by the deadline will be taken to mean that the candidate is not interested in the admission.

CUET UG 2024 registration process is completely online. To register, visit the official website, cuetug.ntaonline.in.
- Choose the 'New Student Registration' option for a new student registration.
- Select one of the six login options.
- Set a strong password and enter the security pin.
- Complete OTP verification.
- Log in with the newly created password to fill the rest of the application form.
- Fill in all required details and upload a photograph, signature, and certificate.

How to Fill the CUET UG 2024 Application Form
The CUET UG 2024 application process is completed in three steps. Each step must be finished before moving to the next.
Step 1: Registration Form
Register for the Online Application Form first. The system will generate an Application Number after you submit your registration details.
- Provide the required registration details in the Online Application Form.
- Create a PASSWORD and choose a Security Question with an answer.
- Note down the system generated Application Number after successful submission.
- Use the Application Number for all future references and correspondence.
- Log in for subsequent visits using the Application Number and created Password.
Step 2: Application Form
Log in with the system generated Application Number and pre-created Password to complete the application form. Fill in personal details, apply for subjects, provide educational qualifications, and upload photographs and documents.
Step 3: Pay Examination Fee
Select Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI to pay the application fee. Follow the online instructions to complete the payment.
After successful payment, you can print the Confirmation Page. If the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment, the transaction is cancelled and you must approach the bank for a refund. In such a case, make another payment transaction.

Discrepancy in BHU UET 2024 Admit Card
- Candidates must carefully examine the received admit card for all the entries therein. The personal information will be same as given by the candidates in the application form.
- In case of any discrepancy in the hall ticket, the candidate must inform the Office of the Controller of Examinations immediately. No excuse would be accepted and hence, no considerations will be given to the candidate who does not inform timely.
- There are various helpline numbers of BHU as well on which students can contact at this kind of situation. The controller of the examination helpline number is 011-2368466/ 2307255. Students may also mail the whole issue with the screenshots to the concerned person.
Documents Required with BHU UET Admit Card
Candidates must carry a minimum of 2 copies of their extracted admit card to the Test Centre. Other than the admit card, there are various documents students must carry along with them which includes the original identity proof that could be any of the following:
- PAN Card,
- Aadhar card or smart card,
- Passport,
- Driving license,
- Voter’s ID or College/School ID Card.
- Entry in the examination center will not be granted to any candidate without these documents.

Students must make a note that they have all the rights as per BHU to reserve the right to cancel any of the centres except Varanasi without assigning any reason on their behalf. Candidates should choose altogether five centres in order of preference in their application form.
The allotted centre will be mentioned in BHU UET 2024 Admit Card which cannot be changed in any case. However, blind candidates will be allotted Varanasi Centre only.
BHU UET 2024 Exam Day Instructions
Candidates are required to carry their Admit cards with them to attend the Entrance Test. Candidates' admit card will be verified by authorized invigilators to confirm their identity. Authorities or invigilators may ask to complete some formalities such as signatures etc. to complete with the verification process.
- Candidates should keep their Admit card safely even after the Entrance exam as they would be asked to present it before the University Committee if in case the candidate is selected for Counselling.
- Candidates are expected to be at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the given time. They should take their seats as per their roll numbers. In case, a student is unable to find his/her allotted seat, he/she can confirm the same with the invigilators.
- Moreover, the grace period for the test is 30 minutes after which the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the due time i.e. unless the exam time complete.
- In case, student leaves the examination hall before the due time, he/she will not be allowed to re-enter the hall. No extra time will be permitted to the candidates.
- Electronic devices such as calculators, digital watches, mobile phones, pencil boxes, log tables, Clark tables, electronic watches, etc. are not allowed in the exam hall.
- If any candidate violates the rules they will be subjected to Admit Card Cancellation and won’t be able to attend the exam.
- There are no waiting facilities for families or friends of the candidates at the respective exam center.
