BPTPIA CET 2024 Application Form
The BPTPIA CET 2024 application form will be available soon in July. Candidates can fill the application form at bihartechassociation.com/admission-form.
The last date for registration is July 7, 2024. The exam will be conducted on July 13, 2024.
BPTPIA CET 2024 application forms can be submitted in offline mode. Applicants can get the application form from the official website or from the counter at the college portal.
BPTPIA stands for Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institution Association. The association conducts the competitive entrance test for admission to the first year of B.Tech and Diploma Polytechnic courses.
Application Fee
The BPTPIA CET 2024 application fee can be paid in any of the following ways:
- Cash payment of INR 100 at the Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institution Association counter.
- Bank Draft issued in favour of Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institution Association payable at Patna.
All colleges participating in BPTPIA are approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), Ministry of Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India and Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility requirements for different courses before applying. The eligibility criteria for various courses are given below.
For Engineering and Technology (4 Years)
Education Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Must have at least one subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Technical Vocational subject.
- Minimum 45% marks required in the above subjects (40% for reserved category candidates).
Age Limit:
- There is no minimum or maximum age limit.
Citizenship:
- Candidates whose residential address is in India are eligible to apply for Engineering and Technology 4 years BPTPIA CET 2024.
For Engineering and Technology Lateral Entry Admission in 2nd Year
Education Qualification:
- Applicants must have passed the diploma exam with AICTE board with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the specific branch of Engineering and Technology.
- Candidates should have passed a B.Sc degree from a university approved by UGC with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and passed 12th class with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- B.Sc stream students need to pass subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics for the 1st year B.Tech Program along with the 2nd year program.
- B.Sc stream students need to fill the supernumerary seats in the category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
- This applies to students belonging to Diploma in B.Tech from an AICTE approved board of institution or B.Sc degree from a recognized university approved by UGC.
Age Limit:
- There is no minimum or maximum age limit.
Citizenship:
- Candidates whose residential address is in India are eligible to apply for Engineering and Technology Lateral entry admission in 2nd year BPTPIA CET 2023.
How to Apply
Candidates can get the BPTPIA CET 2024 application form using any of the following methods:
- Go to the official website of BPTPIA.
- Look for the 'Download Forms' section on the left side.
- Click on 'Download Engineering form' for B.Tech courses or 'Download Polytechnic form' for Diploma (Polytechnic) courses.
- Take a printout of the application form after downloading.
How to Apply for BPTPIA CET 2024
The application process for BPTPIA CET 2024 is offline. Candidates must fill the form and submit it before the last date.
There are two ways to get the prospectus and application form:
- Buy it from the BPTPIA Office or from the offices of any participating institution.
- Receive it by post by sending a demand draft.
The cost depends on the method of purchase:
- Cash payment of INR 100 at the office.
- Payment of INR 150 through a demand draft payable at Patna in favour of 'Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association' to receive the form by post.
Applicants who download the application form from the official website must send it with a DD of Rs 100/- in favour of Bihar Private Technical & professional institution association payable at Patna to the regional office.
There is no option to correct details after the form is submitted. If a candidate makes a mistake, they must change the form before submitting it to the regional office.

BPTPIA CET 2024 Application Fee
The application fee is paid when obtaining the prospectus and form. The fee is INR 100 in cash or INR 150 by post.
- Cash payment of Rs 100/- at member institutions or the BPTPIA office.
- DD of Rs 150/- payable at Patna in favour of BPTPIA for receiving the form by post.
Documents Required with the Application
Certain documents must be sent with the application form to the Regional Head office. The list of documents is given below.
- Self-attested photocopy of educational certificate, mark sheet and pass certificate.
- S.L.C./ C.L.C. and caste category certificate.
- Self-attested photocopy of date of birth certificate.
- Photocopy of character certificate from the head of the school/college last attended.
- Two self-addressed envelopes duly stamped (worth Rs 50/- each) of size 30 cm x 25 cm.
