Santosh Dental College & Hospital organised a comprehensive Student Orientation Session on Exam Readiness and Stress Management for the 3rd Year BDS Batch (2023–24) at the Basement Lecture Theatre, SDC. The programme aimed to equip students with the academic guidance, practical examination strategies and emotional resilience required to confidently prepare for their upcoming university examinations.

The session commenced with the university counsellor Ms Sonakshi Bhargava, who guided students on effective stress management techniques, anxiety reduction, time management, relaxation strategies, and maintaining a positive mindset during examinations.

The Mentor-Mentee Coordinator, Dr. Kanika Bhalla, then conducted an interactive session on effective viva voce presentation. Through student role plays, participants demonstrated appropriate communication skills, confidence-building techniques, structured answering methods, and professional etiquette during viva voce.

The Examination Coordinator, Dr. Gaurav Pratap Singh provided detailed instructions on the correct method of filling the OMR answer sheet, avoiding common errors, and writing theory papers effectively, including presentation, answer structuring, and efficient time management during examinations.

The session concluded with an address by the Deputy Dean, Dr. Manish Bhargava, who encouraged students to remain confident, maintain regular revision, follow examination guidelines and approach their examinations with a positive attitude. The session was highly interactive and well received by the students, helping them feel better prepared for their upcoming examinations.

The Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Santosh Dental College & Hospital, successfully organised a Hands-on Workshop on "Fiber Reinforced Composite in Modern Dentistry", providing participants with an enriching blend of expert insights and practical clinical training.

The workshop featured an engaging guest lecture by Dr. Nikhil Bahuguna, Award winning Mircoendodontist and International Speaker who shared contemporary concepts, evidence-based practices and real-world clinical applications of fiber reinforced composites in modern restorative dentistry. Participants further enhanced their learning through a live clinical demonstration followed by an interactive hands-on session, where they gained practical experience under expert guidance.

Such academic initiatives empower future dental professionals to strengthen their clinical competencies, embrace innovation and deliver quality patient care with confidence.
