Silicon is recognized for its consistency in placements among engineering institutes in Odisha. More than 70% of the students get placed every year.

More than 31% of the placed students get an average compensation of more than ₹5 LPA. The number of students with paid internships increases every year, with the highest internship offer going up to ₹1,10,000 per month in 2025.

Despite being in the shadow of a tech slowdown the last couple of years, Silicon continues to maintain its consistency in placements for the graduating batch of 2025. Top companies in product development, start-ups, IT service, and the core sector from diverse fields recruit Silicon students.

Silicon continues to achieve excellent placement results despite the market slowdown. This year, 34 new companies recruited from the University. A majority of our final-year students have also done their internship under our Practice School (PS) program for one semester with monthly stipends varying in the range of INR 8K to 110K. Apart from regular on-campus placements, students also choose other career paths such as higher studies, research fellowship, and entrepreneurship.
