Entry requirements
Before submitting an application, all prospective students will receive pre-course counselling from Beacon’s Recruitment Agent (RA) or Marketing Staff.
During the pre-course counselling session, the RA / Marketing Staff will:
To better understand the applicant’s needs, the RA / Marketing Staff may also discuss the applicant’s educational and career goals, financial preparedness, relevant work experience, health conditions or disabilities that may affect learning, and any concerns relating to studying in Singapore.
For international applicants requiring a Student’s Pass, additional information will be provided on the Student’s Pass application process, restrictions on employment without a valid work pass and other relevant Singapore laws.
Applicants are required to sign the Pre-Course Counselling Checklist to acknowledge that the required information has been explained. Each pre-course counselling session is valid for one course application only. A new pre-course counselling session will normally be conducted if a student transfers or progresses to another course.
After selecting a suitable course, applicants complete Beacon’s Student Application Form and submit the required supporting documents, including educational qualifications, identification documents and, where applicable, documents required by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for Student’s Pass applications.
Applicants are required to pay the prescribed Application Fee upon application or as otherwise agreed with the RA / Marketing Staff.
Where the RA / Marketing Staff assists in completing the application form, the applicant must verify that all information provided is accurate before signing the form.
