History
In 1848, Fresenius University of Applied Science was founded. Then, in 1908, women were admitted to this university. Then, in 1971, the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and the Arts recognized Fresenius as privately owned university of Applied Sciences. Then, in 2003, a new campus Cologne was opened. Finally, in 2008, the university got its present name Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. Then, in 2019, the ninth campus of this university opened in Wiesbaden.
