Tohoku University will be increasing tuition costs for Indian students enrolling after April 2027. Current tuition rates for both UG and PG courses are 535,800 Yen (INR 3.2 Lakhs) per year. This will increase to 900,000 Yen (INR 5.37 Lakhs) per year. However, doctoral students will continue to pay the same Tohoku University tuition fees. Students will also need to pay for other costs like health insurance, food, transportation, and some other utilities and bills.
