Blocked Account and Total Annual Cost for Indian Students

It may be the most feared and misunderstood part for applying to the German public universities, the need for a blocked account or Sperrkonto. Before applying for a German student visa, Indian students need a blocked account for a min of EUR 11,904 (INR 13.04L) for one year.

This is your money only which stays with you and is released in monthly installments of around EUR 992 (INR 1.08L) by your provider (Fintiba, Expatrio, and Coracle).
