• Upload a colored passport-size photograph on a light or white background. No caps, hats, religious headwear, sunglasses, or spectacles. The photo must be 200*230 pixels and less than or equal to 50 KB.
• Upload a scanned signature in black pen on white paper. The resolution must be 200*100 pixels and less than 10 KB.

Step 4: Registration Fee Payment

The application fee must be paid after completing the form and uploading documents. The fee is INR 1000 for General/OBC and INR 700 for SC/ST candidates.

• After the successful completion of all the above-mentioned process candidate need to pay the registration fee of INR 1000 for the candidates belonging to general or (OBC) Other backward Class category and INR 700 for the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC or ST
• The candidate will have to pay the registration fee through online modes such as Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
• Take the registration slip that will be automatically generated and keep it for future references.

Based on 2025 data, a rank of 1,500 (General) falls outside the closing ranks for B.Tech Marine Engineering at IMU Mumbai (1,179) and IMU Chennai (1,343).

Normalisation in IMU CET 2026

IMU CET 2026 ran in two shifts on May 24. Since the two papers may differ slightly in difficulty, comparing raw marks directly would be unfair.
