JIPMER 2024 Application Form Status
The JIPMER 2024 application form window has been closed. JIPMER 2024 has been replaced by NEET UG. Candidates seeking admission to the UG program at JIPMER must appear for NEET 2024.
Previously, JIPMER conducted its own entrance exam. Now, the Government of India has assigned the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the exam for JIPMER admission.

Eligibility Criteria
JIPMER 2024 application forms are accepted only from candidates who meet the standard eligibility criteria. Candidates should also check NEET 2024 eligibility criteria, as JIPMER has been merged with NEET.
Nationality
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- NRI or Non-Resident Indian candidates must be registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955. They must present proof of registration as an OCI or Overseas Citizen of India when submitting the JIPMER 2024 application form.
- Foreign Nationals must take permission from the Medical Council of India.
Age
- A candidate must have completed a minimum of 17 years at the time of admission.
- No age relaxation is granted for candidates from the reserved category.
Academic Qualification
- The candidate should have passed class 12 from a recognised board.
- Candidates must have passed with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
- General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Reserved category candidates (OBC, SC, ST, OPH) must secure a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates from the general and OPH category must secure 45% marks if they have passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
Candidates appearing for the final year exam in 10+2 can apply. Candidates who have already appeared for the exam but are awaiting their final result can also apply.

Candidates can fill the JIPMER 2024 application form only through online mode. There is no offline mode for application submission.

How to Apply for JIPMER 2024
The JIPMER 2024 application process is completed online in several steps. Candidates must register, fill in their details, upload documents, and pay the fee.
Step 1: Registration
- Go to the registration form on the official website.
- Fill the form by entering a valid email ID and mobile number.
- After receiving the User ID and Password with a login link from the admin, click on the link and complete the registration process.
Step 2: Login
- Enter the User ID and Password to log in.
Step 3: Fill the Application Form
- Click on the tab "Edit" on that page.
- Fill up the form with all the required details.
- Click on the "Submit" button to proceed.
- Upload a scanned passport size photograph along with signature.
- Upload the community certificate and PwD or Persons with Disability certificate (if applicable).
Step 4: Pay the Fee
- Pay the application fee by Net banking, Credit Card/Debit Card after redirecting to the option payment gateway.
Step 5: Print Confirmation
- After successful completion of the payment process, the candidate is advised to take a print out of it.

Things to Remember
- JIPMER and AIIMS MBBS now falls under NEET and are conducted by NTA.
- JIPMER MBBS is now conducted in offline (pen-paper) mode under NEET.
- The exam is conducted across 120 cities in two shifts.
Students must be having mixed feelings about the exam now since it is now merged with NEET, but it is advised to not lose hope and use this for their benefit by solving previous year papers and giving mock tests.
