LFAT Replaced by CUET UG 2024
The LFAT exam has been replaced by the CUET UG 2024 exam for admission into the BA LLB course at Allahabad University. The CUET UG 2024 application form is expected to begin on February 28, 2024.
Eligible applicants can apply for CUET UG 2024 online by visiting the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates must clear their 10+2 from an accredited institution to apply. A direct link to apply will be updated here once it is released.
CUET UG 2024 Exam Dates
CUET UG 2024 exam date is scheduled from May 15 to May 31, 2024. The tentative dates related to the exam are detailed below.

CUET UG 2024 Registration Process
Last year, CUET UG exam got 1499790 registrations, out of which 1116011 appeared. This year, the registration process follows a similar pattern.
First, candidates must create a unique ID by entering name, address, email id, contact number, and date of birth. Then, they must create a strong password for login and fill the rest of the application form.
CUET UG 2024 Application Fee
CUET UG 2024 application fee is expected to rise by 10-20% this year. Application fees vary with the number of subjects chosen.
For 3 subjects, the fee last year was INR 750 for General and INR 700 for EWS/OBC. It goes up to INR 1750 and INR 1650 for 10 subjects for General and OBC/EWS respectively.
Registration fee is accepted only via Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI, or Paytm. The confirmation page of the CUET UG 2024 online application form will be generated only after successful payment of fee. While filling the application form, any two of the CUET UG 2024 test centers can be chosen.
CUET UG 2024 Form Correction
Application form correction facility will remain open for a limited period of time for successfully registered candidates. NTA will not entertain corrections sent by the candidate through Post/Fax/WhatsApp/E-mail/by Hand.
CUET UG 2024 form correction is not available for uploaded photograph and signature.
CUET UG 2024 Registration Start Date
The CUET UG 2024 registration process is expected to begin on February 28, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the registration link online only on cuet.samarth.ac.in.
How to Fill CUET UG 2024 Application Process?
The CUET application process comprises 5 steps. These steps are generating login credentials, filling the form, uploading documents, paying fees, and downloading the confirmation page.
- Generate CUET Login Credentials by providing basic details like name, email address, mobile number, etc.
- Login using the credentials created to fill CUET application form 2024 for academic and personal details, test paper and exam city choices.
- Upload the scanned copy of documents required like photograph, signature, and category certificate.
- Pay CUET application fees 2024 using any of the listed payment methods on the website- UPI, Debit/ Credit Card, Net banking.
- Download the application form confirmation page for future reference.
Step 1: Filling CUET UG 2024 Application Form
Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate must supply the required details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create a PASSWORD and choose a Security Question and enter his/her Answer.
After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated. This number will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference and correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system-generated Application Number and created Password.
Step 2: Logging In CUET UG 2024 Application Form
The candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form. This includes filling up personal details, providing the details of educational qualification, university or programme selection, test paper details, choosing the Examination Cities, and uploading the images and documents (if any).
Step 3: Payment of CUET UG 2024 Application Fee
After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI.
Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank or Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate.
In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate may have to approach the concerned Bank or Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate or multiple payments.
Notes:
- Download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form (which would be downloadable only after successful remittance of fee) for future reference.
- All 3 Steps can be done together or at separate timings. The submission of the Application of a candidate could be considered as successful and his/her candidature would be confirmed only on the successful transaction or receipt of the prescribed application fee from him/her.

CUET UG 2024 Application Form Important Instructions
Candidates must follow certain instructions while filling the CUET UG 2024 application form. The information entered in the online form is treated as final.
- Candidates shall ensure that the information entered by them in their respective online Application Form is correct
- Information provided by the candidates in their respective online Application Forms, like the Name of the Candidate, Contact Details, Address Details, Category, Gender, PwBD Status, Educational Qualification Details, Date of Birth, Choice of Exam cities,etc. will be treated as final. Any request for change in such particulars will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances
- All candidates must ensure that they have provided the correct e-mail address and mobile number
- Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number to be registered in their online Application Form are their own, as relevant/important information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered mail address and/or through SMS on the registered mobile number only. NTA shall not be responsible for any non-communication /miscommunication with a candidate in the email address or mobile number given by him/her other than his/her own
- NTA does not edit/modify/alter any information entered by the candidates after completion of the application process under any circumstances. Any request for change in information thereafter will not be entertained. Therefore, candidates are advised to exercise utmost caution before filling up the correct details in the Application Form
- NTA disclaims any liability that may arise to a candidate(s) due to incorrect information provided by him/her in his/her online Application Form
- Candidates are advised to visit the NTA Website(www.nta.ac.in) and check their emails regularly for the latest updates
- Candidates shall appear at their own cost at the Examination Centre on the date, shift, and time indicated on their Admit Cards issued by the NTA in due course through its Website
CUET UG 2024 Application Form Correction
The CUET UG 2024 application form correction window will remain open for a limited period. This facility is available only for successfully registered candidates.
NTA will not entertain corrections sent by the candidate through Post, Fax, WhatsApp, E-mail, or by Hand. The correction facility is not available for uploaded photograph and signature.
