NEET PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC). The compulsory rotating internship must be completed by September 30, 2026.
Candidates need a valid registration with the MCI or a State Medical Council (SMC). Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, and Foreign candidates with an FMGE qualification can apply.
Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir are generally ineligible for the All India 50% quota unless nominated by the Government of India. There is no upper or lower age limit for NEET PG 2026, and there is no limit on the number of attempts.
