PESSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for PESSAT 2026, you need 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 boards. The detailed eligibility criteria are given below.

  • The student must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Students have to qualify their higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their subjects.
  • Candidates have to secure at least 60% aggregate marks in the given subjects.
  • The age limit for a candidate is 17 to 25 years till the month of December of the year of the examination.

PESSAT 2026 Application Dates

Online registrations for PESSAT 2026 have started. The exam will be held from April 20 to May 12, 2026.

PESSAT 2026 Application Form Highlights

PESSAT 2026 Application Fee

The PESSAT registration fee has been increased from the last year and is now Rs. 1200. The fee can be paid online through credit/debit card, internet banking or UPI.

Offline payment through demand draft is also accepted.

Documents Required for PESSAT Registration

You must be ready with the documents required for PESSAT registration 2026. You are required to upload scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature in jpg format as per the dimensions specified.

How to Apply for PESSAT 2026?

The application procedure for PESSAT is to visit the official website. The official website for filling the form is www.pes.edu/pessat.

  1. Click on the link for PESSAT registration.
  2. Upload all the documents asked for.
  3. Make the payment for the application form.
  4. Submit the form.

Correction in PESSAT Application Form

There is no facility for correction in PESSAT 2026 application form provided by PES University. If there is any discrepancy or error found during the time of PESSAT registration you must contact the help desk.

To make corrections to PESSAT Application form you need to write an email to pessat@pes.edu with the application number and the corrections/modifications.

PESSAT Rank and Admission

A rank of 6000 is not at all a good rank for PES University Exam as it won't help you to avail a seat in PES University. You must keep your rank within 700.

How to Fill the PESSAT 2026 Application Form

The PESSAT 2026 application process has four main steps: registration, form filling, image upload, and fee payment. Follow the steps below in order.

Step 1: PESSAT Registration

  • Open the official PES University website and click the link for PESSAT application.
  • Register by entering your Course, Name, Gender, Date of Birth and Email.
  • A Log in ID is generated for every candidate and sent to the registered Email ID.
  • Use a different Email ID for each course. A single Email ID cannot be used to apply for multiple courses.
  • Log in to the website using the credentials after receiving the ID.

Step 2: Filling the PESSAT Application Form

  • After login, fill in your personal details in the application form.
  • Enter your qualification information and contact details next.
  • Click the 'Submit' button at the end of the page to submit the completed form.

Step 3: Uploading Images

  • Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the required formats.
  • Accepted formats are JPEG/JPG or PNG only.
  • Fee payment is the next step after uploading documents.

PESSAT 2026 Application Fee Payment

There are two ways to pay the PESSAT application fee: online and offline. Choose the mode that is convenient for you.

Online Payment

  • Log in using your Registration Number, Gender, and Date of Birth.
  • Pay the fee using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
  • Download the confirmation page after successful payment.

Offline Payment via Demand Draft

  • Fill the form and upload images first, then choose the offline payment mode.
  • Pay the application fee using a Demand Draft (DD).
  • The DD must be drawn in favor of "PES University General Fund" payable at Bangalore.
  • The DD can be from any nationalized bank.

Offline Payment via Challan

  • Print both the application form and the challan.
  • Carry both to the corresponding bank for payment.
  • Submit a hard copy of the application along with a copy of the stamped challan.
  • Supported banks are SBI and HDFC.

PESSAT 2026 Application Form Correction

There is no correction facility in the PESSAT 2026 application form. Once submitted, the details filled cannot be modified or updated.

The University does not provide any time for updating or correcting information. If there is an error or discrepancy, contact the concerned body immediately.

Test slot bookings for B.Tech begin in April every year. You can book your slot for PESSAT 2026 from this time.
