Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria
- You must meet the eligibility criteria set by the conducting universities before applying for UPCATET 2026.
- For UG programmes (BSc/B.Tech/BSc Horticulture etc.), you must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks in the relevant stream (PCM, PCB or Agriculture).
- For BVSc and Animal Husbandry, you must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- For MSc Agriculture, you must have a BSc Agriculture degree from a recognised university with at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. For PhD programmes, you must have an MSc degree in the relevant subject with at least 60% marks from a recognised university.
- For SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement in Class 12 is typically 5% lower than the General category requirement.
- Age is calculated as of December 31, 2026. For UG courses, you must be more than 16 years and less than 22 years. For BVSc and Animal Husbandry, the age limit is 17 to 25 years. SC/ST candidates get age relaxation of 5 years. There is no minimum or maximum age limit for PG and PhD programmes.
