Al Shifa College of Pharmacy

Al Shifa College of Pharmacy is credited with a very good library on its Campuz.The library offers access to a wide range of resources including books journals, News Papers Magazines Journal back volumes and electronic materials. It serves as a central source of information and knowledge, providing an invaluable resource for students, researchers, and members of the general public alike.

Al Shifa College of Pharmacy Library professionally organized and managed space dedicated to promoting academic excellence and providing students with a wide range of resources to support their learning and research.

Library provides uncompromising information and intellectual requirements to its students and faculty with a user-friendly approach. It offers a fully integrated and dynamic environment for conducting academic study. Multiple copies of text books ensure that resources are easily available in Reference Section and Stock Section. Besides, it provides Lending of books and journal back volumes, photocopying, CD/DVD and Internet services, etc. The library is using Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) for classification of resources.

Library is fully automated using KOHA Library Software. Students and staffs can access the library resources by sitting at home visiting the link http://acp-opac.alshifacollegeofpharmacy.ac.in In all Al Shifa College of Pharmacy library has all modern facilities required for a college library.

Admission to Library: Students are allowed to library only on production of their authorized barcoded Identity Cards. Through In and Out Management Software the librarian can easily recorded the attendance of library visitors with the help of barcode scanner.

Reference section: This section has Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, and Research Projects etc. which are only available for reference. User can make use of these resources.

No due Certificate: Each student shall obtain No dues certificate from the library after returning all the books issued.

Care of Library Books: Students are required to handle the books/ Journal very carefully; marking with pencil, writing or highlighting, tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously.
