BITS Pilani is a private deemed university established in 1964 in Pilani, Rajasthan. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and accredited by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The institute holds an A++ NAAC grade and is one of only six institutes in India designated as an Institution of Eminence by the Ministry of Education.
