<p>Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) Patna is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).</p>
<p>In the NIRF 2025 rankings, CNLU Patna was ranked 17th in the Law category. MyKollege ranked it 22nd in 2025. In 2024, NIRF ranked it 31st and IIRF ranked it 35th. India Today ranked it 12th in 2025.</p>

NAAC Accreditation determines the quality of the Institute in terms of Education, Research, Infrastructure, Teaching, Learning, Placement etc. NAAC accreditation helps the University in the allocation of resources, planning in the internal areas.In pursuance of the National Action plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for Performance evaluation, Assessment and Accreditation and quality upgradation of Institutions of Higher Education, the NAAC proposes that every accredited Institution should establish Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an Institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of the quality enhancement and sustenance.
