DAV College

The College has a Training & Placement Cell to arrange career counseling, training and placement activities.The Training and Placement cell provides support for placement of Final year students of UG and PG Classes. The support services that it offers are in the form of arranging campus interviews, grooming students to face the final test of their knowledge and arranging Guest lectures, workshops, seminars for career counseling as well as make efforts to provide practical training to the students. This cell was established in 2006 under the Deanship of Sh. C.B.Gaur, Associate Professor, PG Department of Commerce. In 2008, Sh. Rajiv Sharma, Associate Professor, PG Department of Commerce took over the charge of this office and subsequently by Sh. V.K Sareen, Associate Professor, PG Department of Commerce and then Dr. Nischay Bahl as Dean, Associate Professor in Post Graduate Department of Computer Science.

The training & Placement cell is an indispensable pillar of DAV College and plays a vital role in shaping student’s future. The placement cell functions with a vision “To Groom students with competencies & employability skills to become part of Top Notch companies.” It is well regulated & structured with a placement officer, Prof Manav Aggarwal at the nodal level his team members.

The training & placement Cell has been instrumental in arranging more than 2300 brilliant students with visiting companies since 2008, which proves the dynamism and hard work put in by the entire team.
