Devchand College

Devchand College was established in 1961 under the name ‘Janata College’ by the Janata Shikshan Mandal, Arjunnagar. The college was renamed in 1967 as ‘Devchand College’ in recognition of the great contribution made by its founder President late Padmabhushan Devchandji Shah. The college is offering 15 academic programmes.

The college campus is spread over 45 acres of land in a rural area bordering Karnataka and Maharashtra states, with part of the campus within the Karnataka state and remaining major areas in the state of Maharashtra. It is affiliated to Shivaji University and accredited by NAAC with B Grade and is recognised by UGC for aid under 2f and 12B.
